Thanks! I was on that thread earlier, by all indications, what's being said is correct, however, some people claim that Google has changed the way they look at accounts for some reason. That's what I'm making sure, because a VPN alone doesn't mask what play content is available to you, and this includes devices Thanks again though, I'm just trying to get feedback from those who ordered recently, just to make sure it hasn't changed, o or make the necessary adjustments if it has.
I order it with my belgian visa!

Why don't people buy from Swappa? Some sellers are shipping it internationally. Doesn't seem too expensive either.

I haven't used it, but swappa is not xda's official market place. So I think you should be good.

Default Seems to work...

I haven't had any bounce yet or anything, it actually gives me an estimated ship date, so I'm waiting to see

Here's what I did:
  • Downloaded ProxMate for Google Chrome
    Enabled it
After a minute or so, I proceeded to create a new google account
Selected US [I believe it's the default in this case]
Proceeded to the play store [still under the VPN]
Waited a few days as I waited for Google I/O
    Finally decided to get it
Went back on on the account with the VPN enabled
Chose my International Prepaid Visa Card [Visa TravelMoney] with a US address that I had previously added so this process would go smoothly
Ordered it, having it shipped to a US address [different to that on my card]

So far it works.. Went from preordered to processing in one hour, and its giving me an estimated ship date.. I will update, but it seems like all my fears have been alleviated.

My order has been cancelled twice now.

I used a VPN. Created a new Google account. Bought the phone using a prepaid CC (EntroPay). I set the billing address to a valid US address (where I used to live) and the shipping address to my mail forwarder.

It changed from processing to cancelled in about a day.

Sigh. Have I missed something and done something wrong?

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S running CM10.
