You're right. No HSPA+ , no NFC , no 32GB option, no LTE (4G) . The ZL is just better.Hard to believe Z will not have HSPA+. T has it...

Well let's just hope than both will ba available globally. You're right. No HSPA+ , no NFC , no 32GB option, no LTE (4G) . The ZL is just better.
The only problem now though is that a 5" screen phone might be too big to hold one-handed when making a call, and also to fit in your pocket as well: http://www.androidcentral.com/5-inch-devices-great-half-way-tablets-or-phone-only-giant-could-love What do you think??Well let's just hope than both will ba available globally.
It may also just mean both will be positioned differently, it would make sense.

Despite that, I still don't see any reason to doubt the GSMarena specs, although it will all be clear when Sony Officially state the specs at the CES 2013 show. What about my question in: http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=36175787&postcount=243 ?What? HSPA is pretty much a standard for cellular data, arguably so is LTE, so why wouldn't Sony put it in their phones? Spectre said both phones should have LTE. Undoubtedly they should also be compatible with HSPA as well since only a handful of countries support LTE and HSPA is, like I said, a standard nowadays.
The GSM Arena stats aren't official; we can't rely on them yet.

Do you think the specs of the Xperia V are still good in comparison to those of the Odin and the Yuga then?Looks like this year's flagships will have 5" screen. Those phones are getting too big IMO and unfortunately they doesnt offer top hardware in smaller packages (with smaller screen). Screen size should be max 4.7" - 4.8" IMO.

According to a couple of friends at Sony Mobile they will push Yuga as the flagship to begin with. Odin is harder to produce because of the size. Yuga set to be on sale mid feb with Odin a little later in march....

That's what I think.GSMArena's specs are wrong all the time. The Yuga and Odin should have the exact same modem chip. And even if they don't I am 100% sure both have HSPA+ support.
