Its because of the wrong driver.
You have to do trial and error trying different drivers using the SPMDT Tool. See my tutorial. It think its one of the most thanks in this thread.

I bought a N8000+ smartphone similar to the model below:
http://dx.com/pt/p/star-n8000-andro...0-capacitive-dual-sim-gps-and-tv-black-135636
I'm trying to enable it to support Miracast technology, so I need an Android 4.2.2 ROM.
I searched on the xda own website on the links below:

And the site that I downloaded my current ROM:

But without success.
My phone is the Star N8000 +.
Model number e1908_v77_jbl1_9p017_6628
Chip MTK6577
Android Version 4.1.1
hi all. i finally managed to make it work 99%! (why 99%?-cuz i'm using a custom rom and it has a few bugs..) how? well, after thousand of recovery files i have used a .rar file that contained: boot.img, logo.img, preloader_e1808_v75_jbl1.bin, scatter file, and a recovery.img. i flashed them thru sp flash tool and i finally managed to get to recovery mod by just pressing power and volume+ for a few seconds. where did i get those files? i really don't remember i'll post a link to mediafire after. these files revived my phone, but not completely. it still won't turn on, just cwm recovery. so, i thought that it might be a good idea to flash a custom rom thru cwmrecovery, ang guess what: i worked! a got the custom rom with ics 4.0.6 from here http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1951901 and flashed it by recovery and then i flashed the 2gb and 512mb fix file, wiped data and cache, and then, my phone finally booted up. it was unbelievable....
here is the link for the recovery pack: http://www.mediafire.com/download/a50lmzldddf606b/20120727_e1808_v75_jbl1_recovery.rar
i use wrong version of "SP FLASH TOOL" to flash and now cannot turn on. can i use your method to recovery ???
