No notifications on apps after defrosting with TBU+

I'm on 4.4.2 tw rooted with the locked boot loader. After I defrost an app it will no longer show notifications my status bar. I have to go in the app to see anything updates. The app in question is Tinder.anyone else have this problem?

Just a thought, but do you have "show notifications" checked in app manager for the app in question? I I've never had that issue after defrosting, so that's all the help I can give.
