Hey guys,

I figured out for myself that Im most happy running 4.1.2 stock.
So I wondered which is the best kernel for that stock image.
Would like to have BLN working.

Which kernel + version do you suggest?

Thanks alot!

This needs to be moved to the Q&A section, and "best" is a matter of opinion, with no true answers...

You'll have to dig up the marmite thread. In the first post there is a link to a spreadsheet showing all the different versions. Whatever is the most recent version that is indicated for AOSP 4.1.2 is the one you'll want.

Nevermind, I found it for you. :D

You'll have brightness issues with the 9.1 version on Jellybean 4.1 You'll need to stay at 8.7 or below to avoid this.. If you try 9.1 and don't like the fact that brightness is non adjustable, you'll need to reflash the rom before you try another version because the kernel leaves files on your phone that will continue to mess up the brightness control... :)
