Its not that they are marketing. You should understand that each rom comes with a certain modifications into it. Dev's of each rom work individually to make their rom unique. If each one of you ask dr ketan to make the package for individual rom then taht wont be possible coz then Dr ketan would have to do testing and modifying the package for each and every rom and being a doctor he wont get much time to do it. It's our resposibility as a user to test it and then give feedback to our rom dev and dr ketan about it. All you have to do is take a backup before flashing the package so that if something goes wrong you know how to get back to your previous stable rom. Just try it yourself and give feedback in the R&D thread and in that particular rom's thread.

Sorry for answering something that doesnt concern me but "marketing" free stuff?? Its an oxymoron imo...
Especially when it comes to the "Protector of Note2" Dr. Ketan.... He has done so much for us and EVERYTHING IS FREE!!! :good:

Just explining why we can't help if your custom ROM doesn't support.
Say your developer have modified android.policy.jar and framewor-res.apk for example
Those both files will be replaced by this mod so naturally your ROM feature/function will be wiped out by replacing mod correct? How can we make changes? Every developrs have their own way to mae changes in ROM, If we make compatible to one ROM, it breaks other ROM. So we have make it with base of stock ROM, Only your ROM developr can help you in this regard.

My friend you need to flash a custom recovery and then flash one of the deodex roms MK4 that are out there... Phoenix already has the N3 package so flashing that gives you everything. If you flash another one then you need to flash the Note3 package from post #4 via recovery like the OP says...

Hi..First Root ur device..then follow this thread http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2533611 and Install this rom(because this rom is deoxidised..mk4 rom)..
After installing this rom..Install this add-on pack..

Like I said you need to be rooted. For that you need to flash philz kernel and then a stock based rooted rom or go for the phoenix rom v15

Then my warranty is gone?isnt it? if yes then its not a problem. But will i be able to downgrade or install any other roms in the future?

If you mean the knox warranty that will be void only if you have flashed a bootloader or a stock rom with the bootloader. What was the last base you flashed via ODIN?

You can downgrade as long as you dont flash new bootloader

Not rooted, you needs to have Deodexed ROM.

I seriously wonder how @dr.ketan remains so cool. Really appreciable.

I have a little suggestion to make:
All those who have flashed this MOD on a particular ROM come forward and share their experiences. This info could be added to OP and will help all the new comers here as well as developers.
I am currently downloading this and will flash on Hurricane v6. Will share my experiences with that ROM soon here.

On a side note, this MOD should work with almost all the MK4 based ROMs here but not with Official OTA.
Go ahead, make nandroid, flash MOD and tell Developers and friends here your experiences

Too bad I can't hit THANKS button 100 times.

I never did the flashing stuff on my note 2.. Everything is stock. 3 days back my phone got updated via OTA. so official android 4.3 MK4

Anyway AFAIK Hurricane V6 is MI6 framework based (Hybrid in sense of App not framework) and if so, surely device won't booted. wait wesomathaman going to update MK4 shortly OR pick from other MK4 available.
