Installed 2.2 last night. So far so good.

Question: I activated my work email and for the first time it made me out a pin number in and now I have a stupid lock screen I have to enter every time. Can't find the setting to deactivate it. Any help?

New to AOSP - first time flashing Liquid on this platform. When I installed it, it seemed like it deleted all of my old files on my internal SD card. However, after connecting via USB, properties for my internal SD card show that it still has 5G available of 12G (about what it was before installing Liquid). All of apps that are visible now with Liquid add up to be about 2MB, meaning that my 8GB of files are still on the SDcard somewhere. It looks like Liquid created its own partition to use.

My question is how to get access to my old files again. I'm not sure that AOSP is for me, and I may just restore my nandroid that I backed up before installing Liquid.

Thanks in advance!

Flash back to a 4.1 ROM, transfer whatever files you want to the sdcard/0 folder. Then flash back to 4.2 ROM and your files will be there. You can't see the /0 folder in a 4.2 ROM but it is the home for all your files now.

Just me being picky but is there a way to make the messaging not the dark theme? I even unchecked it in settings and rebooted but nothing is working. Thanks

Would anyone happen to know why in 8hrs my phone uses 71% of my battery? I clean flashed and everything. Under battery settings it just says phone 71%. It was in my pocket all day

Anyone having trouble using either targets or shortcuts on the lockscreen with a pattern unlock? I put in the correct pattern to unlock and it just stays on the pattern screen. I can hit back and then it works the second time, every time. I also use "slider before unlock" so I can see widgets and targets.

Thanks!

I have, i even tried removing then reinstalling the drivers. like i said before, adb worked as well as mounting worked before i upgraded to 4.2.2 on other roms

when i run adb devices I get

List of devices attached
3af5829a offline

To everyone who keeps having this issue, if you have already updated drivers on your pc and made sure adb is enabled in developer options the next step you need to take is to make 100% sure that your android sdk on your pc is fully up to date that's what caused the issue for me as soon as I updated I got the security prompt and all was well from there on out.

That kind of question is really hard to answer... is your Bluetooth on, is your gps on, are your location settings on, do you have your phone vibrate and ring with every call... all the little details matter when asking a question like that. what kernel? etc..... what's your brightness setting at....

Installed the latest version. Getting unable to download apps due to error 920. Anybody know how to fix this? Tried clearing cache and data, flashing clean again, flashing gapps again, removing and adding account again, still the same issue. Help?

I've never seen that before.
Maybe try wiping cache on all the Google Account type apks's, like Play store, Google Services, Partner Setup, etc. etc.
And remove your Google account one more time, reboot then add it back in.

I'll go with the Google Engineer over a 72 post newbie. ;)
Anyone who has 10% drain an hour has issues other than "battery calibration".

All I'm saying is that I didn't change any settings, didn't even reboot, and I went from a 7 hour battery life to a 30+ hour battery life just by calibrating my battery. After I had been running the ROM for a few days. So while Google may say it doesn't do anything, my experience tells my otherwise. Maybe it's different for 4.2.x, because the other ROM was based on 4.1.1, but still.

You should be able to move them without flashing 4.1. Look under data/media
