[GUIDE]Increasing Internal Memory for Micromax A91

Hey, First of all Read The Warning

WARNING
1. Your device must be ROOTED.
2.Take a backup with TWRP/CWM or any other recovery.
3.This is ONLY FOR MICROMAX A91.

Procedure:
1. Download any ROOT FILE EXPLORER.... I used ROOT EXPLORER.
2.Download the "vold.fstab.txt" file from below.
3.Go to "System/etc" and rename the OLD "vold.fstab" file to ''vold.fstab.bak'.
4.Copy the downloaded file here, and Rename it "vold.fstab"
5.Restart and enjoy.

Note
First copy EACH AND EVERY folder from your phone memory to the SDCARD so that all your apps keep on working after swapping.

I couldn't found my ext. memory after doing this and internal remains the same

Did u renamed the vold.fstab.txt to vold.fstab

sent using my micromax A91 android 4.2 custom my own rom +many more tweaks using XDA Premium

It worked!! now phone memory expanded to 5GB (n cn b anything depending on Mcard..i think)

and i use foldermound and link2sd too...any problem with these apps??

No, no problem with these apps bt the way i have told is the simplest and the bst...

Yes i have find some way dat is by Swapping memory or using sdcard as a RAM increaser but i dnt knw weather it can be used with the internal memory MOD so wait for smtime for my new post and i will clear all ur doubts and let u knw d method for increasing RAM

im not getting the concept of downloading the text file which isnt there all it shows is

Luk u dont hv to open d .txt file.. Just download it nd remove the .txt extension from it by deleting '.txt' frm d end. It is done only to save d time on mirroring d download. As XDA supports .txt file uploading but nt .void file uploading
