I must be one if the lucky ones but my battery life is great with the new ROM.

Sorry, but I completely ignore posts from people who didn't read mine, lol.

Anyways, might be an issue with the new OEM 3.7V battery I got because on my extended battery I am getting normal usage.

Hmmm... Interesting. It could be. Maybe there are different versions? I never really see a battery go bad.

Yeah, I have had great battery. No issues at all.

What would I need to do to restore a GB backup? Do I need to reflash a different kernel in hboot?

Mark me as lucky too since I have had excellent battery life with this ROM.

Good deal. I think its all on the battery. I think there could be mixed versions like the 3.7 / 3.8 issue. Kernel is not developed enough to differntiate and or not set up to handle the differences in characteristics. So people with the "off" battery get slammed with poor perf. While the rest of us get great life. Just my theory. No real concrete proof.

What would I need to do to restore a GB backup? Do I need to reflash a different kernel in hboot?

Yes, restore back up and flash boot.img in hboot.

Super happy to finally flash my Rezound with a new ROM, this is my first dive into Android (been hacking WinMo for YEARS...) and I am excited to poke around in it.

Quick question I don't think I saw addressed (and yes, I searched) - I am having even worse than normal luck getting HTC Sync to recognize the phone. Are there known issues with USB syncing on this ROM?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Do you have the sdk installed? If so, navigate to the folder of the sdk that has adb in it...do this in command prompt, and type "adb devices" and see if it lists your phone. That will at least tell you if the comp is recognizing the phone...which may lead to an HTC sync issue. It might be too, that you're running ics and its not supported yet.

Just flashed. Came from your SenslessROM 2.0. Gotta say I love it. It's the little things that make a difference to me (like the battery percentage in the icon) great work man keep it up ;)

Interesting glitch. My backlight will come on while my screen is off and I can't get the phone to come back on without a battery pull.

Go into Settings > Develop and change windows and animation to 1.5 and that should help.

There's really nothing much to do with that right now. Pretty much all of the ics roms have that right now. Have to wait for the official build to get rid of it completely. It is annoying but not enough to get me to go back to gb for.

I was a big fan of Ineffabilis because of the customization, but you can't go wrong with RezROM or CleanROM. Pretty much all of the GB roms are solid. I just love this rom and RezROM ICS too much to go back.

My phone is having problems with youtube video playback. And othe videos, like on scorecenter. I tried a few diff ics roms but came back to this one.. Im not sure if it was a problem before I restored the backup. Anyone else have any issues with streamed video playback? I can hear the sound, but the screen is black. The process bar on the player is moving but just no video..

    Alternate Kernels

I have created a flashable 3.13.607.5 Kernel and a flashable 3.14.605.5 Kernel for the ROM.

Some people feel that the 3.13.607.5 kernel gave better battery and cooling than the latest kernel.

Feel free to download and test for yourself!

These are in old school method as to make one simple step for everyone. This also resets mainver to 1.00.000.0 :D

    Instructions
    1. Download to root of SD Card
    2. Reboot to Recovery
    3. Flash Zip
    4. Phone will reboot to hboot
    5. Press power one time so it will scan the SD Card
    6. Install boot.img when prompted
    7. Reboot when prompted

    Download the 3.13.605.7 kernel HERE

    Download the 3.14.605.5 kernel HERE

Np. Not trying to bite your head off or anything, but wipe is always almost recommended.

You get to go off on someone and get a thanks for that.

I post a killer ROM and then a mirror by request and I get **** :(

700+ downloads in 7 hours and I have 12 thanks. Im not complaining... But really?
