Which version are you using?Omni or Carbon?
I'll try to reproduce the issue, I never used phone pin.

Reproduced!! Indeed not working if both sim and phone are activated. Will first install Carbon on one of their standard devices to check if issue is from my port or general Carbon issue.

Easiest workaround is rebooting in flight mode.

General Carbon issue, see here:

I'll check in gerrits if something can be done.
Only rebooting in flight mode is the workaround if you need phone pin.

Known issues (thanks for the feedbacks)

- Not possible for the moment to have pin code + phone code - after reboot phone code can not be entered. Workaround if phone code is needed is to reboot in airplane mode.
- One user reported proximity sensors issues - checked on several forums and it may happen on certain devices running CM11 but it's not general. I could not reproduce the issue.
Workaround if happens, is soft reboot using Xposed framework.

Tried that, but it was greyed out. Manage to do it with Titanium :laugh:

Hello mate,
If you use the Carbon build you can use the CM theme engine, download some CM 11 themes from PlayStore some are including boot animations.
There are also a lot of threads on XDA providing boot animations in flashable zip format.

Omni does not come with theme engine for now, but it's a WIP.
So if you want to change boot animation, you still can do by flashing zip files, just search XDA for boot animations threads. There is also a nice appon Play Store "boot box" that allow you to do that easily.
For theming, only solution for now is xposed frameworks and some modules.

Never experienced it but one user reported it once so it may happen indeed.
I've searched and apparently those experiencing the issue are using xposed framework soft reboot to solve the issue when happening. Others have been using this thread to solve it definitively : http://xdaforums.com/show...php?p=40306019
By the way i'm checking everyday on CM's gerrit if some patchs are being released.

Great cheers for the response.The link 404's, but i'm guessing it's to the faux kernel?

Edit: nope link was to note 2 sensor calibration. I've heard tell that faux kernel is a work around as well though.

Yes Faux Kernel is the best solution for now. Sire you will not have issues with it.
