Alternate Way To Find MSL
Hello, I recently had to unlock my galaxy and to do that I needed my MSL. So I did a quick Google search and it pointed be in the direction of multiple articles. After reading and attempting all them I had no luck (yes I tried the ones in this forum).
Eventually I came across a an article that stated that if you activated a previously activated phone (does not have to be previously activated on your account although it can be.) with sprints online activation it will tell you the MSL.
So I guess the point of this whole thing is to inform those who had no luck with any of the methods posted on how to find your MSL.
I just so happened to have a spare phone laying around the house so I deactivated my galaxy to an old HTC Evo Shift 4G, waited about 30 minutes (Its takes sprints website a minute to recognize the "new" phone), and then reactivated my galaxy. At the end of the activation it will give you a code "in-case the activation does not work", that's your MSL.
I Must point out though that this does not work with phones that have not been previously activated because the code sprint gives you (I forget the name of it, please forgive me) only works one time, it is not your MSL.
