Hey everyone, I had this idea, why not post our battery stats at the end of a full charge, telling everyone what kernel and rom we are using what we used the cell phone for, so we can compare some good stats and reach conclusions ?

Here are mine, after 2 days of use ( turned off at night)

I'm currently at Slim Bean 4.3 build 1.2 with it's kernel . used mostly for twitting and texting, and some light gaming .

Battery life

What nuclear batteries do you guys use? 2 days is uncommon for me lol.
@OP, I guess turning it off at night does make a huge difference, impressive screen on time nonetheless.

I am not turning my phone off at night, just Wi-fi.Sync is on,using Greenify on some Gapps, making calls and stuff. And that's all.

Nice thread. It will be cool to have some comparison. I'll post some screenies later tonight when I manage to kill my battery with some heavy gamming :)

Impressive screen on Time @ OP with heavy usage I can barely past the 3h mark.

screenies with my working day usage. Only turn 3g data or WiFi when I need it. About an hour of gamming and the rest is regular stuff like listening to music or browsing Facebook. I can probably squeeze another 20/30 minutes on Facebook. Screen brightness all day at 40%

Well as you can see at their stats, 3g or H is not on, im guessing they switch on ans off their data plan. I use mine with data on 24/7 im getting around 16 hrs of battery life.

I'm on Liquid Smooth v2.9 with Werewolf JB kernel v08b and Operation Killjoy scripts. In flight mode with screen turned off, my 4X HD loses only 1% battery in 7 hours.

@GalaxyVolvoZ Five hours with two charges without games on that list is a big lol

Here's today's screenies with my regular work day. I even kept it on overnight. Switched to iodaks kernel and I'm pretty happy with this results. Running @1500/484 interactive/row with brightness about 35%

Cmon guys share those scores so we can get some honest comparisons

OMG I HAD AWESOME SCREEN ON AND DEEP SLEEP TIME :D

Even though I only used it something more than half a day, still is awesome screen on time I think, never had it as good as today!

It would reach 6h screen time or close, but I had to charge it to the next day :b

    I'm also interested :good:
What I can really suggest here is trying a ROM based on p880-dev source, with iodak kernel or a iodak based one, using the custom settings I've already posted on my "PimpYourKernel!" thread..at the moment, using mostly WiFi (and mobile data just when needed), I can easily reach up to 3:30 - 4 hours of screen on time, as confirmed by the screenshots I posted here some months ago :)

Edit: Ok, let's do a little explanation about what to do to extend battery life and screen on time (in my opinion).

First thing: try a p880-dev source based rom, with a proper kernel (there are many battery-friendly kernels: iodak, Mourta, cyodak are the most updated)

Second: try to customize kernel settings, in particular underclock and undervolt (you can find some examples into the "PimpYourKernel" thread), finding the combination which fits better for you, according to your tegra variant.

Third, but not probably the most important thing: have you tried to control with better battery stats if you're having partial wakelocks? If the problem is that, it may depend primarily by some apps which are causing the wakelocks, and secondarily by the kernel you are using, which may not block the partial wakelocks..there are many apps which could cause wakelocks, as Facebook, Messenger, gps apps, apps requiring push notificatiins to be set on, Xposed, or greenify, or some other xposed modules. Now, if the problems are these, there are possible solutions: 1) do not use Xposed (or use it only if you're sure the modules you're using aren't causing partial wakelocks) or greenify, or try a substitute (example: Battery doctor, which I personally use); 2) you can use the wakelock blocker options, implemented in the advanced settings of some ROMs as beanstalk or liquid; or even (and I do not talk about it as a self-interested thing, but because it is really a good thing, D) test the 08/16 version of mourta kernel, which is the latest version without any bugs and allows you to lock partial wakelocks, using abyssplugv2 as governor (or try another kernel which prevents wakelocks, if it exists).

Fourth: using too much gps, mobile data, nfc and so on will naturally cause a higher battery drain: the only way to save juice is to use them only when it's really necessary, turning them off when they are not needed.

Of course, if everyone wants to contribute, every other information or addition is welcome :)
