After a while my 'G' icon does not display anymore?
It is replaced with the 2 arrows and a little cross.
If I activate 3G I get the 3G+ icon and then if I deactivate 3G I get my G icon back.
I'm sure I read something about this but cannot remember where

Also top left ok button plus top right power button and then stylus in softreset button.

I'm not an expert. But Usually with Flashing it's trial and error, try not to do everything at once. Do a step, test it, try the next step and so on.
do you mean the HTC and Windows logo?.

I also had the problem with the boot or system anilizando stayed stuck. Solution: Change the boot spl from 2.60 to 2.10 and again I did the process of updating the rom and so far everything works fine.
yay this is what i wanted to know....somehow "clear storage" doesnt seem all that useful compared to the hard reset via buttons

There is nothing in the folder so is it ok to just delete it?

THANKS - I just wish the CANADA operators were in the Connection Wizard.
- Photos in the Home screen would be pulled from the sin instead of the blank pictures folder on the device itself. (perhaps there is a fix to do this?)
After some more testing, I am very happy with V4 full. Everything works as expected and unlike other ROMs the usability seems much better.
Some experiences (not necessarily specific to this Rom):
* IE8 seemed very slow. Setting it from desktop to mobile mode restored the usual speed.
* UCWeb is indeed very nice, Forwards/backwards navigation works faster than in Opera or Iris
* FlashLite works but mostly cannot run due to low memory.
* If it is not too much work, it would be nice if you could provide other language versions too (e.g. I would be interested in German)

I'm not sure you can as it's 'inbuilt' ie part of the ROM.

This is a "Development" thread of Windows Phone 6.5 for HTC HERMES, so don't expect anything are perfect and working, But [i\we\you] will try to fix existing bug if present. If you want a perfect one for ur Hermes go with "Official WM6 rom" from various OEM. Try it on your own risk. I don't responsible for "any Damage and Loss data" on your device that caused within this rom.

For first time flashing and newbie:

yes i have done that but now it just reset its self after i installed pointui .. also that only left me with 20mb free memory.. is that the problem that i dont have enough ram ?See first post when you get this trouble, follow the instruction and you'll be fine
ill remove pointui and see if it works for awhile
p.s analizing device component screen is where it gets stuck
next update about a minuit after that ^^^^^ post it automatically hard reseted!
