The latest stock kernels for the GNote2 already have the Exynos bug fix included, right??

Why the need for that GS3 patch ?

.

Yes, the stock kernel has the Exynos bug fixes, but the new released sources (update2) for Note2 have the SDS fixes but not the Exynos ones, why? i have no ideas.

Good kernel man, thanks for sharing..

My car got a difficult to conect bluetooth voice system but it's working great with this kernel unlike many others ...

And as I expected it is compatible with Tegrak Overclock ultimate app ...

It's all good :good:

Cheers

Don't know about faster gps, but my screen lock/unlock faster...;)
I'm on MB4 firmware and this is the first version of wannam kernel I tried.
I used stock kernel since now.

Guys, which crt on/off mod working on my MB4 stock odex firmware? Or doesn't work?

Edit: i was listening music and my screen didn't wake up for some seconds.Even skip tracks with volume buttons didn't responded.
After a while everything is ok, but there is a bug here I guess...

Somehow out-of-the-box and mod kernel don't fit in the same sentence

If you can flash and run this kernel it will do what is supposed to do.....duh...

By the way, I don't even use CRT-off. I always disable it.

I like this kernel for its stability, init-d support, all-around performance and the amazing energy efficiency.

Not to mention it's compatible with one of my favorite apps, Tegrak overclock ultimate....

Does this kernel activate crt-off out-of-the-box after flashing in a stock rom?

Yes, it must be enabled on the Rom.

Just checking so this kernel has the SDS fix from update 2 and the exynos exploit patch from SGS 3 sources correct?

OmegaROM(v12/v13) + Simplistic Framework 3.5.1(CRT-OFF is On) +Adam Kernel 1.2 = charging time 5-6 hours

I got the idea to build this kernel from Perka thread for GS3, thanks to him.

-This kernel works only for Samsung 4.1.X ROMs-

/!\ Flash it at your own Risk /!\

The main goal of this kernel is to keep it stable and close to stock. It contains a few CPU and Memory optimizations for better balanced performance/battery life (the same tweaks i have on all my Roms), it includes Stweaks, Boeffla Sound, and "init.d" support so you can tweak as you like.

    Features:
    pic.png
Built from Samsung Note2 sources Update2 + GS3 Update9/10 patch (Sudden death & Exynos bug fixes included)
    pic.png
Battery charging control Trough Stweaks App (AndreiLux implementation, Big thanks to him)
    pic.png
Stweaks App support (Used AndreiLux customization of GokhanMoral generic interface, Big thanks to them)
    pic.png
Auto install of Boeffla Sound and Stweaks Apps (Thanks to Simone201 and Gokhan)
    pic.png
Boeffla sound App support (Thanks to AndiP)
    pic.png
Reduce Battery monitor wakelocks (Thanks to AndreiLux)
    pic.png
Added IO schedulers: SIO & ZEN & ROW (Thanks to AndreiLux and Yank555-lu)
    pic.png
    Enabled Car Dock charging
    pic.png
Triangle away support (Thanks to IndiP and Delute)
    pic.png
    Compiled CIFS as module
    pic.png
Compiled NFS as modules (it depends on the compiled modules “sunrpc” and “lockd”)
    pic.png
    Compiled NTFS as module
    pic.png
    exFAT support
    pic.png
    Init.d support
    pic.png
    Dynamic FSync control
    pic.png
Added support for Crt-Tv Off Animation (thanks to Codeworkx and Perka)
    pic.png
Tegrak overclock App support (CPU/GPU optimizations - OC/UV)
    pic.png
Built with Stock ARM Toolchain 4.4.3
    pic.png
Zmoove and Lulzactiveq cpu governors (Thanks to the Authors)
    pic.png
Proportional Rate Reduction for TCP (Thanks to Nandita Dukkipati)
    pic.png
CPU voltage control for UV trough Stweaks (Thanks to AndreiLux)
    pic.png
    Auto Root (if Not Rooted)
    (SuperSU 1.30)
    pic.png
Disabled Wifi multicast (Thanks to Entropy)
    pic.png
Increased timeout for some bad Sdcards
    pic.png
    Disabled Android Logger
    pic.png
Switch Android Logger ON/Off trough Stweaks (No Reboot required, Thanks to AndiP for the Sysfs interface).
    pic.png
    Tweaked Pegasusq CPU Gov
    pic.png
    Enabled Swap
    pic.png
Fbearly suspend delay control trough Stweaks (default=100ms) (Thanks to AndreiLux).

    Download.

    Important note:

    • SGH-I317 users can use my N7105 version, Tested by Willl03 and Jrafael (Thanks for the tests).
    • "Fbearly suspend delay" won't remove Crt Off, it cancels the suspend delay to remove any glitch when Crt Off is disabled

I started working on a new update, but it won't include any screen hacks, as i said before i have no plans for this mod, this is one of the things which make Perseus unique :D , i don't want to make a kang kernel, i try to include only what i really need and avoid any patch which could break the stability of the kernel.
