You can download SuperSU by Chain just out today on the market. It works for real. I tested on my Evo 3D with Google movies. All you have to do is uncheck enable Super User. There is a Pro version for $2.49

I tried this app, Voodoo OTA rootkeeper, Temp Root and SuperSU. Videos FC's on my every time I try to watch.
Sounds like a problem
try to wipe app data... if that dosent work uninstall and reinstall...
worked great on galaxy nexus with aokp milestone 2
....updated to milestone 4 on the 7th and just checked today and it is not working. same as previous post by gnex user...play movies just fc's
i'm looking into some variables right now...maybe the movie apk was updated in the last week?

I have tried with Skygo and doesn't work, not least on my DHD running ARHD 7.02

Got the 'donate' version and it worked fine for me. On an SGS2 running a flashed official ICS update.
But I only get one button on the app. I get the su > mu button and then movies work in Google Play (haven't tried SkyGo yet). But when I want to use some other root required app, I have no button to go back (mu > su).
Am I being dense?!

Thanks, just me being stupid...I saw the screen shot with two buttons on so was expecting that. So when I restarted and saw only one I stupidly didn't look at it closely enough to see that it was reversed.
Will go and hang my head in shame now!

Looking at the Android Market comments, it looks like quite a few people are having the 'no buttons' problem

That was for a older version it is now fixed. Lot of people just complained and uninstalled

This app doesn't appear to work, and I've also tried manually removing the su, sulogin and Superuser.apk files. Any ideas?
Can you share android version, rom version, and device name.
Also. What do you mean not working it simple it renames the su binary. Try to reboot device after you renamed the binary.

The renaming works but I can't play anything in Google Movies.
I'm running Android 4.0.4 MoDaCo Custom Rom Ir11 (IMM30B) with Franco Kernel 3.0.8.
The fact that it doesn't work even by doing the steps manually suggests there is an issue with my ROM but I was hoping you might have some ideas.
