I recently got some, but not much water on my phone (stupid flowers) which lead to a non workin volume down button. As this doesn´t really bothers me i simply kept going without changing the volume rocker part. The problem now is that the phone drains various batteries a bit too fast: stock battery lasts about 10 hours without any usage and extended about 2 hours more. So i checked the phones inside and found some corrosion on the 1. of the 4 volume button soldered pins (but only there), so could that be the reason for the battery drain? (Will post picture later) Is it possible to relate the battery loss to some hardware part via software or even shut down energy supplie?

Edit pix:

No wakelock :/

Here is some picture of the soldered volume rocker pins where you can see some strange fluid around the first pin:

Before concluding, let's try to get to the real issue.

Since you said your battery only last 10 hrs without usage, try this

-Fully recharge your battery,
-Download Cpuspy and run it, then close it
-Leave your phone untouched with screen off for about 4 hrs
-run cpuspy again and post the screenshot here

Guess i got all Information together now. Some clever Ideas would be much appreciated (especially for hunting down the failing part) :)
