This is my first flash of J's GB ROM and I only have very occasional reboots, none of my apps installed atm as I'm only playing around with the ROM until it's a little more stable.
Swyped from my ZDZ Froyo beta4 X10i with Dualtouch
okay i am a bit confused here. after updating or rather upgrading our basewband via flash, can we install the rom using x recovery? or do we have to flash via the flash tool?
Guys don't read the previous posts because J has changed the name and version of the Rom ... i prefer to make a new thread for 2.3.2 so everything become clear ... btw Thanx alot for starting work at 2.3.2 . linpack score and quadrant are awesome ... i'll wait for the camera and video playback and GOOD LUCK
jerpelea,
what has changed in 011? Is camera and videoplayback working?
it is very important to know, becouse I and the other members do not want to flash it, try and then flash back to froyo becouse some hardware does not work here.
- you must be on 2.3.3 FW (including 2.1.71 baseband), in case u are not use the provided baseband package..(baseband71 ftf) before u flash kernel package..
- if you can not see FreeXperia Logo on boot then you are on wrong SEMC Kernel and you need to flash included custom kernel
- Use then the flashtool to flash the fxp ftf(X10-custom-ftf) this will provide you with the correct cwm recovery and kernel.
- Reboot phone, keep pressing back key/volume down to enter recovery, from the menu wipe the device and caches then choose install zip from sdcard/choose zip from sdcard and select update-cm-7.2.0 and flash, again straight after do the same for gapps zip, now reboot phone.
- Enjoy FXPCM7.
- If you need more help please go to this thread....
it could be too early to call it an progress but seems that our belowed WLOD is GONE
