Downloading Problem
your host http://www.androidfilehost.com/ doesn't work good. i downloaded 15 time with 4 files with diffrent mirrors and just finished 2 of them
i like to download your file but my second download of v5.1 also went to 99.99% and didn't finish till now. i'm testing other mirrors but please put a torrent or something here or anywhere elese wich i could download your rom!

I'm not really sure why, but after installing 5.0 and 5.1 (clean install on both), I'm unable to download from Play Store. I can download from my Dropbox, but Play Store just sits there trying to download. I reinstall 4.3.1 and Play Store downloads work fine. Am I missing some switch somewhere?

Interesting. I had xcstacy_build_5_n8013 as the kernel for Redemption 4.3.1 and had no download problems. Redemption v5.0 and up have what I assume (something I know I should never do) the latest kcrudup kernel and with those I've had download problems. So I guess, for the nonce, I'll stick with v4.3.1 and xcstacy.
Need to have something steady state by Wednesday night. My wife is going into the hospital for surgery Thursday morning and I'll definitely need my Note 10.1 to keep me busy while I'm in the waiting room.

Do you restore you Google accounts from a backup, or do you setup the Google account from scratch ?
I have no problem with the play store at all, i running with different kernels.

Sorry for thread hijacking. Anyone who experience reboots using my latest 5/5.1 kernels please upload your last_kmsg in my thread as soon as your device reboot. Last_kmsg is located at /proc/last_kmsg in case you don't know.
This will help me and fellow Devs to identify the underlying problem that has been causing the reboots.

I usually do my Google setup from scratch. And it appears that there are only certain apps that sit in the d/l state. Others d/l and install with no problems. I'm not overly worried, other than I can't install some of the apps that I use.
You got specific things/apps, I can test, i get no crashes at all for now.

Currently Redemption is currently based on XXCME2 firmware which was for the 8000, but since v2.0 is now supporting the 8000, 8010 and the 8013. Full wipe if coming from another rom

Minimalist Theme22Okay everyone v6.0 is getting pretty close. I have updated base to cmd2 and also updated aroma which has seemed to take care of the install issues. I have a few more bugs to work out and I got to get more goods jam packed in the baby. Also redemption will now feature the updater that will house many mods, addons, themes and fixes which I can update and you will see the changes and new items right away. I'm pretty stoked about this release as I hope you are as well. I am going to do my best to make sure all bugs are worked out. Huge thanks to all members of team nocturnal for bringing me on and allowing me to use your updater and goodness app. I really hope to set this free tomorrow night but if not Monday night for sure.

A-I am not sure on which devices this will work for as I only have the 8013 and pretty much only build and test for what I own. Well actually since v2.0 I now support N8000 and N8010 as well as N8013, all in one zip.

A-Pleas pm me feature requests and I can decide if it will benefit the Rom as a whole and more users. I dont really want to add a feature that only 2-3 people will use.

A-As of right now only stock, hopefully this will change soon.
