Just like thank the dev. This is a very good kernel. Very smooth. Just one question all those CPU steps from 25mhz to 1500mhz .would it drain more battery.all other kernel starts from 200mhz.apart from that its the smoothest kernel so far .I have been trying out kernel for last 4 weeks .at last I found one .if the battery is good I will stick with it

nice to hear that someone likes it :) I have uploaded v1.8 with Freq from 100-1400MHz, Siyah-v3.1 and some other little changes ... like RCU_BOOST etc. ..

PS: try the app "CPU Spy" and you will see the used freq. from the kernel, less MHz => less voltage => better battery-time :) but 50 & 25MHz are really slow, so I revert some changes

U have done it again. With 1.8 .by the way with the low frequencies would it effects the performance. I play lots game like asphalt 6 and HD games. Watch movies online. Lots of multi tasking.. I love ur smoothness

Liked the smoothness of your kernel as well, but only briefly tested 1.4 and had the CWM bug.

But yeah, if 1.8 is not based on the Siyah sources that has been bricking device, would probably try this again

Im tested now and not bricked my phone. Yes i did clear cache and dalvik.

Smooth kernel. Performace like Siyah.
Undervolt settings ok.

But i dont liked cpu freq 100 - 1400

Well it's not that easy. Most tasks take more time till they're completed with 100 MHz so the phone is awake longer. Some users did some longtimetests and also used Amperemeters to get the real drain. This showed that 100 MHz most of the time takes more battery than 200. But as everybody can set it as he wants it doesn't really matter what is implemented.

I always think its best that the kernel be set to default 200 - 1200 mhz. If the user want to UC or OC its up to them. I am really liking the smoothness of your kernel. Keep up the great work. :D

nope!

this is the path right?

/sys/class/misc/backlightnotification/led_timeout

it varies from kernel. Sometimes ..../notification/led_timeout and sometimes .../backlightnotification/led_timeout

Sorry, wait for voku to answer you :D but until then, you could try to create file. nothing to lose.

This kernel also support Extweaks. And it also uses my previous default profile from siyah. :)

    +1 ... I am also use the app ;)

Have installed 2.3 on my phone running Hydrogen ICS and downloaded extweka but it is saying the kernel is not compatible. Reinstalled Siyah and extweaks works fine.

    Any ideas?

    I will fix it ;) ...

    EDIT: fixed in v2.4
