I had a question for anybody with Windows 8. I plan to move my dev box from Windows 7 to Windows 8. Anybody here has tried out updating the ROM under Windows 8 ? Any pitfalls ?

I've installed everything like hspl, magldr, this rom on windows 8 - no problems whatsoever.

Moving ROM to new SD card
Hi Ansar, and other community members. I have been using your ROM for almost a month now, and i must say it is just beautiful. It works like the HD2 was made for it.
I have a question though, I currently have it on a 7gb partition on a 16gb class 2 sd card. I have an EXT4 partition (2GB) and a FAT32 partition (5GB) for my NativeSD android rom. I bought a new 32gb class 10, is there a way to shift this rom as is from the 16gb card to the 32 gb card, without have to reinstall from scratch? Also, can i expand the space allocated to WP7 while i do that?

You can transfer it over from the existing sd card, but you can't resize the wp7 partition.

It goes a bit further in that it shows how to put on android as well, but you can just skip those steps.
but, guyz, devs say it is not impossible to run wp8 on hd2 due to complete hardware incompatibility.
7.8 is far away from 8, as 8 has completely new kernel

Just Call Microsoft and when they ask for your live id tell your live ID and tell that you have HD7 NOT hd2 when they ask for your device.
Then will give you the Activation ID over the phone only.
Could also use the "Contact Us" on line Chat support function (when its working) - Need to use the Accounts and Billing Section to get to the chat; I think
