i just automaticaly by habit always use airdroid for file transfers
but just tested on a folder containing 76 pictures via usb mass storage, transfered instantly without freeze, using ubuntu 12.04
Didnt work for me the first time I tried it. But after a reboot it works now. :silly:

Okay I know I am stupid and missing this. But how do you get Mass Storage to work? Since I am on Windows and cant figure it out I end up transferring files via DropBox or MTP most of the time. I hate that method.
If I knew how to use Android for such things I would. But then again, I stoopid.:laugh:

BTW does MMS work? I have not been able to test that out yet. I remember you said a while ago that MMS was not working on one of the builds you had. Not a killer but can be useful. Wife likes to send me loads of pics for no reason what so ever.

Running great! Just needed to update Google Search in the play store, Google Now works great after update. Zero issues so far.

i can't get past the start screen, everyhting just freezes and i can't touch anything
Did you flash anything besides the ROM and the GAPPS provided?
DO NOT FLASH ANY OTHER KERNELS, 4.1.2 kernels will not work on 4.2.1

the above steps arent needed if your flashing from previous build or cm nightly. but is recommended to clear cache after flashing the rom.
