Unhappy [Q] Touchscreen problem

Hi friends

I am having this weird problem that after screen has turned off then turned on by power button the screen stops responding to touch. Remove memory card and reinsert or inserting data cable the screen will start responding after few seconds. tested on V21e, ICS and currently on CM10. Unable to use as daily driver. Help needed.

On ICS and GB the screen may stop responding after sometime of activity. On other hand on CM10 once active it will continue to respond until screen turns off.

CM10 allowed me user volume keys to wake up \. So after waking through either power or volume keys I keep pressing volume keys for screen to not turn off after 20 seconds the touch starts responding.
After all, life isn't 2D, so why should your memories be? and at the same time life isn't perfect, so why should your mobile be...

Try installing a different kernel, it might solve your problem.

To install a kernel your phone must be rooted and you must have a recovery installed.
