Even if some people will now laugh about me and the question: CM7.0.3 means Cyanomod for Arc?
Sorry for crashing your technical conversation but i´m totally new to Android :(

That's ok J, I've been using your X10 work for a long while. I can make my ARC dedicate for this test as I have another simple phone can be used just for daily job, just need to back it up may be later tonight.

install android sdk from android website

commands
adb shell dmedg >>/mnt/sdcard/dmesg

adb shell logcat >>/mnt/sdcard/logcat

after 15-30 seconds press CTRL+C

please send me those 2 files

!! this must be done in bootloop

thanks
J

j i hope u dont mind...
slight correction for dmesg command:

adb shell dmesg >>/mnt/sdcard/dmesg

after all that just pull those files to ur comp (directory where adb is present on PC):
Code:
adb pull mnt/sdcard/dmesg .
adb pull mnt/sdcard/logcat .

OR

just dump the log directly to current directory (of adb on PC):
Code:
adb logcat > testing_logcat.txt
adb shell dmesg > testing_dmesg.txt

i've already had android sdk installed. However, when you do adb shell dmedg >>/mnt/sdcard/dmesg

you get The system cannot find the path specified.

Dose that mena any thing extra should be installed?

there was a small typo... it should be:
adb shell dmesg >>/mnt/sdcard/dmesg

p.s.: just check my above post for more details

Really cannot get it work.

I do have the android SDK Tools installed. when the phone doing the bootloop, connected the usb and adb shell dmesg >>/mnt/sdcard/dmesg in command window

it said The system cannot find the path specified.

if do adb shell, it said device not found.
