Wifi teathering

Has anyone successfully got to teather wifi from T-Mobile s3? I've tried a few things and it won't work without upgrading my service but I have unlimited data.. I have not tried to root because just so many different ways I gave up, hopefully someone knows the working way!

Have you tried FoxFi? That worked for my without root on the s2.

Oh thought I was in s3.. thanks
And yes I have, soon as I start the wifi teather I get message from T-Mobile saying my plan does not include sharing, and cancel or upgrade button

It would probably be easiest to just root your phone using TowelRoot and just install TWRP or CWM and one of the many ROMs. I have tried several ROMs and all of them have what you are looking for. If you want a near stock experience, go for a ROM like S3Rx, StockMOD or many other TW based roms.
