Hey folks, I know this isn't the Note 2 thread but I'm looking for some experts.
After a ton of trial and error, I got wallet R87 running on my Verizon Note 2. Added my accounts, added my cards, secure element shows version 2.0, etc.
I went to use the paypass reader at CVS and it activated the wallet app and told me to check with the cashier to make sure the transaction went through, but it didn't.
Then I went across the street to rite-aid and tried again and that reader wouldn't even activate the wallet app.
What should I be looking at next? The Nfc.apk and NfcTest.apk files? I think those are responsible for triggering the google wallet transaction.
Just looking for some insight.
Thanks.
hey warlocklord I have been following your progress in the note2 thread. It is possible that the nfc reader is not working in those two spots you tried, but I think you said you had success on your sgs3 right?
what would be the most help is if you can run a logcat while trying to use wallet (alogcat from google play) then we could see the error(s)
It is most likely that the note 2 doesn't have the correct files (and the ones you flashed are not totally compatible)...like the problem we had on LH9, and if thats the case, it is best to sit back and wait for sprint to come out with an ota with the smx enabled (and correct associated nfc files)
