Is there something like an audio kernel for better audio out? Like Voodoo audio or boeffla, for direct DAC out or in?
I mean at kernel level not at software level
Thanks

You can try on of the "beat" sound libs found in general dev forum

Beat? Lol, certainlly not an audiophile route... The beat sounds very artificial and unnaturual. Pretty much like the SRS or Sony xBass. They do certainally 'enhcance' the sound, but not quite make them sound better. Though is, it is a subjective matter.

If you want more nature sound that enhances the deetails, Viper4Android goes to top, and PureAudio is second. That IMOH the best you can go for on a software DSP solution.

Yeah.... S4 mini does not have a hardware Wolfensen DAC. If you want better sound quality, it going to be software solution.
