Make sure you use the Latest Flashtool as some people I`ve seen it wont work with the ZL with older versions.

just connect to pc companion and choose repair, you will loose everything though.

this did nothing but factory reset the rom im on. now im on the same US rom but factory reset

If you want the stock rogers rom, you will need to wait awhile til it leaks somewhere

i think you are right

im on the generic US rom, all is good, got mms working, i feel like lte is verrrry in and out, not sure if its acting normal. also, pretty frequently throughout the day i lose signal all together very briefly, i get the little red x on my signal bars, for like 10 sec

I had this issue with my ZL after flashing a rom other than what came on it but going back to stock seemed to not fix it much.

wonderful.... lol so whats my best option? i have a rogers phone, and i cant unlock bootloader. i want this phone to be dif then my other phones so i want to be on a stock or stock based rom. obv i want lte to work etc and my signal to not drop at all

just tried to use maps, it cant find my location.

This is the first time I am posting in this Xperia forum.....
I have a Videotron ZL C6506, awaiting the (sim)unlock code, then root.
Can I flash the 4.1.2 - 10.1.A.1.395 - Generic US 1270-7584 R8A instead?
Is this a plain rom without any bloatware?

Links for everything does not work. Redoing my server stuff for the past week had some issues things should be back working tommrow.

ofcourse its not bloatware free.. its STOCK SONY FW for global versions etc.. but varies on carrier FW`s that have there own apps on it.. flash to stock for selling purposes or to unroot,nor claiming your warranty.. the only advantage is u can flash LTE FW to non LTE FW same model..

I'm sorry, I generally equate "generic" with "nothing added," as did at least one other forum member. Thank you for the clarification.
