Will test in a few hours, I knew I should had not left my phone in my car.

If anyone beats me to it, can someone check the overclocking with Tegrak

If not ill try when i get a chance later, i hate this rain at night.

Good job guys, hope better things keep on coming.

reactive im trying to improve my own rom, the tweaks you implemented are those as many as are needed? are there other things which will help more or will clutter just slow things down?

There are a ton of different tweaks. But here is the issue. Ive experiments with them all. Some over lap and cause logcat errors. force closes. and lag. You have to find balance. Balance is key to a successful Rom.

I was just about to flash 4.1 to see if it fixes my dialing issue with 1.8 (big version jump -lol). Is there a link for 4.2 already? (I thought you were gonna slow down :) )

EDIT: Haha, I found it without the link :) Downloading 4.2 to phone now.

well, I'am. people are doing work now too, lol. rev's changing things to make the ROM have a sense of funny, and reactive changed and cleaned the whole entire init.d and and build.prop allowing us to add very few tweaks to make it faster, and then I come in and test the ROM and add .apks and if we need them. Since this is my primary phone, I'm one of the cookers who tests it more often, cause I already have a NANDROID made.

I see during install of 4.2 it says "installing modem". Does this mean it now includes the BLAZE modem, or does it overwrite it with KJ1 and we have to re-install the blaze modem if we want it?

Yes, but I already have, multiple times. Do I need to re-install it after installing your ROM?

Team Kang with a unicorn hu? It's funny :), but I hope it is not permanent. I kinda liked the basic android startup. ...or I used to love the PC BIOS-style startup. Not sure how I'd feel if my phone rebooted in public right now -lol

Very few tweaks were added. Sdcard tweaks, darky zipalign to name a few.

GenericGinger 4.2 on XDA

Ugh...SMH...Look inside my init.d folder i gave you. There is already a modified Zipalign script and a Read Ahead Script. All you are going to do is cause battery drain and crappy performance. TRUST ME I built these scripts.

I didn't see those tweaks. I'll make the changes needed when we release 4.2, thanks for the heads up.

Well, I'm flashing back to GOv2 now. The '4.2' I grabbed early had the same phone issues for me as 1.8, plus it said phone mem was low when it wasnt. I wiped Dalvik and FixedPermissions, but phone no workie for placing calls. :(

Because of the sheer amount of downloads I got on GenericGinger 3.4 BETA alone, (204) in just one day, I've decided to release both a beta, and stable version of 3.5, read below to understand.

    3.5 changelog...

*added task manager back from GOV2 (The original Samsung one)
*added Voodoo sound control (for added audio control)
*MAY switch launcher to LauncherPro or Faster Than Light (FTL) more testing is required [in v3.6]
*added Tegrak Overclock (for overclocking ASAP)
*added Swype Beta 3.26 (EXTREMELY BUGGY NEED TO TEST)

Please note : For this particular version, I have released 2 ROMS. One has Swype Beta 3.26, and one doesn't have Swype at all.

If you want to test the ROM with Swype Beta 3.26, go ahead and let us know if it works and has the orange tracing line. If it crashes and is NOT stable, simply just download and flash the 3.5 ROM WITHOUT the Swype.

I might just have to take a break from GOV2 and try this, if I do I'll follow up later, thanks

I saw this got ignored so i wanted to repost.. Or is it possible to add a theme like scarlet's leftovers to it?

Not ignored, I'm going to try to learn how. But I'm not confident with that yet.

BTW, didn't know there was an Android voice, didn't make any sounds for me.
