When it comes to speed and performance (scrolling desktop for i.) comparing to stock ROM, is it better?

What advantages are using this custom rom? I ask because I hesitate to by this one or IPAD2 (but i really don't like apple nobrain fanclub sheeps)

I'm getting serious camera problems now after updating to the most recent Prime build. Camera shows live images fine on the screen, but attempting to capture a picture results in a delay, then a green frame being taken.
Any idea what's causing this?

Same here, green screen on taking a photo.

I get this too guys, I take it you haven't done the new root method otherwise your camera would reboot your tab instead.

I'm hoping a fix for this will be found soon.

Apologies for repeating myself in another thread but I think it's fair to ask each dev with a deodexed rom:

Could I ask how you're deodexing the apks? I've found the Honeycomb patched Backsmali in the ticket about the missing HC opcode but that said that the patch would only work for backsmali not smali. So how did you re-compile the .smali into a classes.dex?

Reason is I'd like to deodex the Xoom apks that the Transformer doesn't have, notably the movie editor. (I have decompiled to .smali but can't recompile to .dex)

thanks. that is good to know. I'll try it tonight. one question though, after flashing this ROM, you didn't lose AsusReader aka MyLibrary and is your wifi able to go to sleep when selecting "screen off" & "never when plugged in"? I lost mine after flashing Ti-X.

Still have MyLibrary on this build ya. I usually leave wifi connected, or set to (never turn off), but I'll turn it off now and test for ya.

Hmm, so I set it to when screen is off, disable. Let it sit about 30 seconds and turned screen back on. I was still connected. Let me leave this open a little while longer and see.

*second non-edit edit, lol* .. Yeah .. wifi seems to not disconnect. =\ Sorry

I can confirm that the new blob fixes camera, dunno about bluetooth since my bluetooth never broke.

This can be sorted by rooting your device with the new v5 blob referenced above.

I've had no luck either with the xoom apk's. baksmali/smali 1.2.6 works fine on the current transformer apk's.

I set mine to turn off when screen is off and when I woke up this morning my wifi was disconnected so this appears to work fine.

I just want to have a fast stable rom at the moment with some added extras for convenience. Not sure what direction it might take in the future.

FYI, US and WW versions now available.
