Xquizit is gb based as well as peach. From my understanding if you copy the phone.apk file from peach 3.1 then past into xquizit 6.1 you should be safe. Asked same in cm10 about vulnerability and my answer was take from cm9 paste to cm10. I think on cm10 page 4.or 5. Is the answer I received.

Just be careful which build of cm9/cm10 you use any build after 10/15 of cm9 uses a different kernel. I'm not sure what build of cm10 the new kernel was introduced

This is the first ROM I flashed when I got my phone in March. I don't remember having any problems with it.
Guys don't forget this is so old it has the dialer security exploit. You'll need to pull the "phone.apk" from CM9 as was mentioned here by afwolfpacked awhile back (see top of this page). Can't believe this thread is back from the dead!

On a side note this was the very first ROM I flashed and it was not a good experience. I did the Superwipe and everything. It ended up formatting my SD card and erased all my Titanium Backup files. After all that FCs out the wazoo. That being said, at that time this was new to me so who knows, may I did something wrong.

Yeah, this ROM will cause nothing but headaches. No offence to the dev, just putting it out there... It's extremely outdated, and was abandoned before it even reached a stable point.

If you want a stock experience, go with Peach Sunrise, or you're always welcome to jump on the Jelly Bean bandwagon too. CM10 and Slimbean are super fast (much faster than any Gingerbread ROM) and they're fairly stable too. Throw in a decent Touchwiz theme and you'll feel right at home. Maybe even the Galaxy S3 launcher for a more complete experience. Set the CPU speed to 368/1024 with Interactive governor, and watch your phone fly!

Keep in mind, you may run into a few little bugs here and there, but you shouldn't experience any major hiccups as-is. Once you throw in tweaks like Supercharger V6, Pimp My Rom, or flash any custom kernels... Well, at that point, you're on your own.

Yeah or go with Rebel ROM if you want the best GB experience. PS is fine but I got FCs with it too and some folks still have as recently as the last few months. RR is the kind of ROM if you just want everything to work right off the bat and you're not really into experimenting, though flashing it is a pain.

Yeah I jumped on the JB bandwagon. My battery life is seriously sucking right now on any rom I flash. I'm hoping these generic batteries are just junk and going bad.

I used battery calibration but that doesn't seem to change anything. Could I erase battery stats in cwm recovery under advanced? Would my phone regenerate the stats?

Greetings,

What is this RR you mention here? I really just want a simple, stable ROM to replace the now-buggy stock with. I'm not going to do anything but general use with it, and I'm not picky. Just want stable, fast enough, not horrible battery life. Is this RR my best bet? Also, what is it? hehe

Thanks~

Try CM7 if you want overclocking, it's very stable as well.

I just wanted to find out if any of the roms will make the phone get 3G but after 27 messages still nobody can tell me and just want to argue about silly things so naturally I'm starting to get annoyed.

The ROM does not affect the radio, you are not going to get what you want. Think of the ROM like the trim package, accessories, mp3 player, wide rims, low profile tires, blacked out trim. Maybe a full auto door open / close package, rear camera, sunroof, dvd players.

The motor under the hood is still the motor under the hood. That is your radio.

You came in annoyed and now it is escalating since you think we are idiots or holding out the secrets. We aren't, you just don't like what we are telling you.

Look, dude, I do the whole rom wipe, delvik/cache, factory set thing like it's my job lately. None of these friggin themed roms seem to work for my phone. wtf.

At least XquiziT works in stock theme but dat shyt is so plain looking!

    wtf.

You're a self-entitled prick. I hope you brick your phone, which will likely happen because contrary to your banter, if nothing works for you EVER, on any of these ROMs you throw childish fits about, THEN YOU CLEARLY DON'T FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. Go buy a pager. You're over your head.
