+1 for graphic performance.
Im using NRGZ rom with maxsenseUI for now.

Found this 2 issue :
1. Battery meter on taskbar (maxsenseUI home) didnt inline with batter meter on the winmo (on winmo its say 65% left, on the taskbar its say still 100%)

2. Graphic performance on album very very slow :(

beside that... this new UI is AWESOME!!!
really WOW.... luv it :D :D

Next time keep your useless comments to yourself. You should at least appreciate the developer for the effort he put on this project. Nobody has ever thought about making a new Sense UI and because of him, he made it happen..

Error (23569 Sense2.5 MaxSense May 30)

First and foremost, great job with the mod maxycy. It's smokin' fast and working quite well for the first release.

Here's an error I keep getting on every reboot and every attempt at reflashing:

At first, I thought it was XDA_UC related, because this error would pop up shortly after a fresh flash and right after the initial XDA_UC message. Though, I noticed it happened every time on subsequent boots.

Anyway, I got rid of my XDA_UC folder and reflashed--same problem.

What's MaxGPRS for, anyway?

Problem with centeral home button

I am using maxsense with NRZ enery rom. I am facing some issues with the central home button. Switching between HOME, QUICK LAUNCH and PROGRAM tabs is not easy. sometime its very tough to get back to HOME screen if you are in other windows. the ">>>" and "<<<" does not properly.

Any quick fix or suggestions... i am using it in Diamond 2

Also, i am unable to see weather animation. Adding a city in weather tab works. but "my location" is not working for me.

The << and >> just need a quick flick to switch between the tabs clicking and dragging will not work.

I think the favorite contacts widget is not good. if i have 20 favorite contacts contacts i have to scroll the others to get to the one i want. it is kind of annoying. maybe a drop down box when we press the favorite contact widget or multiple contacts widget would be good!!

I just loaded your UI onto my phone on the EnergyRom on my HD2, and I immediately noticed a couple of things:

1. This bug occurs each time the phone starts:
I see this after I enter my phone's PIN code. Perhaps the .exe should start later (after the PIN has been entered)?

2. My background image is a 960x800 png file, and it looks like this on the phone:

There are some major problems with the home button on the bottom. Sometimes tapping it does not return me to the home screen from the quicklinks screen, and sometimes swiping it left/right doesn't work from within the homescreen or from other tabs.

Apart from that, I love the fluidity of the interface and animations. Keep up the good work, but I don't think it's quite stable for me yet, unfortunately.

EDIT:
I found that on the default EnergyRom layout, clicking the call/sms/email widget TEXT does not work, only the icon

EDIT2:
I found that swiping the home button very slightly left/right results in success, however, It SHOULD work at almost any distance left/right
Also, Clicking on an alert on the alert widget should pop-up the relevant tab/alert

- what Inoticed:

- choosing old manilla tabs is absolutly uncomfortable. Sliders gives much more ergonomy. As the result U gain many extra featues but lost old manilla which i liked much.
- no option of duplicating widgets
- shortcuts ae in a mess. Positions of them should be emembeed and not only 5x5x3. I would prefere for example 16+16, or 9+9+9.
- bluettoth widgets hangs maxsense on my leo (energyrom)
- sometimes it hangs and i have to wait few seconds after changing tab unti i can choose anything.
- favorite contact widget - good idea but not good in use. I have to click icon for 3 seconds and after that choose number... TOO slow!


the rest is AWESOME

Widgets (Battery?)

I'm very impressed by your work, Max. Thanks!

I'm generally a SPB Mobile Shell user, because I like to customise everything to my liking.

MaxSenseUI is definitely going in the right direction for me.

Here's my first widget request: a battery meter to have on the home page. The one on the toolbar is quite small and only gives a rough guide to power. In SPB MS, I like to have a bigger one with % indicator right there on the home screen.

Will new widget additions be opened up for others to create, or will it only be possible for Max to create new ones?

    I think its safe to say that development is DEAD for MaxSense... I haven't heard from Max in Months and figured there was no point in safeguarding the cab anymore...

    Howto backup maxsense :​

    To auto backup and restore please look at this post Auto backup

    Open Task Manager and go to the Regedit.
    Go to HKCU or HKLM .
    Them go to one of the register key's mentioned in the code boxes.
    Now click and hold the key you want to backup till there come's a pop up screen.
    Then export the registry key.

    Introduction
    If you are from outer space and wonders what MaxSense is all about, then please take some time to read through this.

    This has taken a while longer than planned as I lack the free time that I used to have. Due to this, MaxSense will only be released in ROMs and there is no cab for it. This is to avoid answering questions all the time and give myself time to make further improvements. If you are a cook and intend to flash this to your ROM, you can contact me on my mail maxyuecy@yahoo.com for the latest files. Future updates will be posted here. The current version have some basic widgets but depending on the reception of this project, more things will be added.

    What is MaxSense?
    MaxSense is based on Manila/Sense 2.5. Unlike the original setup, MaxSense offers you total freedom to re-design your Home layout. All objects are now widget based and there are many customization options available to make your phone truly looks the way you want it. With full screen features and multiple screens, these allow you real estates to put things on the screen which were never possible. The UI design in such a way that it gives you access to the things you use frequently within a touch or scroll. I can go on forever but below summary of the features will bring to light what is there to offer.

    1. How to get speed performance in Max Sense?
    Ans : Putting more widgets on screen will slow things down and the best way is to switch off certain settings when necessary. Below are some of the settings which you can tweak to get optimum performance
    a. Minimize or hide weather animation
