With RUU you can revert to all old RUU 3.24, 3.12 or 1.50 all RUU who are work with Sensation...

http://ifile.it/hdogvba4So one thing I have noticed everybody keeps getting wrong is that you lose root. Yes, you lose root, but you can also keep it if you use OTA RootKeeper by supercurio. Just run that program before you run the RUU. Then once the RUU is finished go to market and download the program again and restore root, then download SuperUser on market and upgrade the binary and you have root!!
EDIT: also, if after flashing the RUU and OTA Rootkeeper doesn't find root to restore just install/open SU and update the binary, it worked for me right now
