Do you think it's a good deal and is it easy to remove the anti shatter glass film on the back of the phone to remove the minor scratches?
Unless certain check procedures can be conducted, I would walk away.
Can you check hands on? or is it all in good faith online?
We all take varying degrees of risks, but I would only feel comfortable buying 2nd hand If I can check the unit myself.
Some concerns are
*water ingress (check under the flaps to see if the indicator is still white...)
*IMEI (depending on where u live, this could become an issue...where I am from, flagged phones, which are phones with debt outstanding to the carrier and plain stolen phones are blacklisted, and can be cut at any time)
*screen (make sure it turns on and that there are no funkyness)
*USB connector (my 4 yr old son once forcefully jammed micro usb upside down into my wife's phone. Needless to say, after that it wouldn't charge. Make sure it charges)
*Battery health (you can do a lot of damage to battery life through overheating. Left in the car or heavy and continuous gaming while charging can deteriorate battery's ability to hold charge)
All this is irrelevant if your seller has reputable guarantees though...
