First off, I'm a bit of a noob and it's been a while since I've done this so that's probably why I messed it up.
I did something silly trying to update my rom. I backed up and I put the new rom in the sd memory, but the steps for flashing the rom required wiping the sd first. And I forgot that's where my rom was. Apparently the backup saved to SD too, because I've looked all over for it in. So my issue is I have no rom, I have no backup and I can't enable usb debugging be cause I have no OS to do it on so my laptop doesn't recognize the device. So I'm a bit stuck. I may just need to unroot and reroot? at this point I just want to make sure I don't do the wrong thing and brick my kindle.
I looked and didn't find this problem in the forums, so I apologize if it's already been covered. Please help
