Spoke with Rogers today and this is what they had to say... shows how much were cared for...

Dont waste your time with this phone guys... best bet is put V21E as it works XD or else sell this crap and get another phone (Galaxy SIII FTW)

guys obviously were not being taken seriously...

go to this site Better Business Bureau (bbb.org) and file a legal complaint against your cell phone provider and LG this will get things going in the right direction.

Lol I posted this issue on the Rogers forums and this morning it was gone... lol guess Rogers thinks the problem will just go away by itself...

So I got a call from the president of Rogers this morning. She spoke to me and told me that they will be giving me a Samsung Galaxy SII at no charge. Guess this is the end of LG for me.

Final update.

Got the S2 called Rogers and told them that the phone was not equal in terms of specs and features as the LG Thrill...

They agreed and are sending me the S3 for $99.99 (note i had 2 years on my contract left with my lg phone)

Good luck to all of you when I get the phone from Rogers I will post the phone number of the office of the Rogers President and you can give them a call and test your luck.

I'm new here...but...what I have to say here works.

Unlike a lot of other people I've been reading, I really love the Optimus 3d phone and was broken hearted when I upgraded to Gingerbread and the ghost call issue started up...I tried everything....or so I thought...

The above link will root the phone again...as I found out the rooting ability was nearly wiped out entirely after the update. This one works
