2.1.10 Eventually
OK guys version 2.1.10 working like a charm with home button working it took several days and countless flashes but this is how I got it to work
Flashed stock jvz
Flashed cf root kernel to suit jvz
Flash galnetmiui v4 ics latest
Flashed 2.1.2 let it boot to setup
Flashed 2.1.5 as above
Flashed 2.1.8 as above
Flash 2.1.10 and vwala.
If u have a problem with boot loop between flashes use recovery fix via Odin
Then re install version that caused boot loop, this worked for me got no problems at all now ans working home button.

Hi guys, what is the correct procedure to flash this rom.Coming from miui i tried a full wipe and used the kernel cleaning script with no luck.I then went back to gb stock and tried again but still nothing.On most tries the screen froze on the nice samsung galaxy s ice cream sandwich boot screen.On a couple of tries i noticed that it tried starting up with the nexus prime boot animation...is that normal.This is the first rom i just can't flash.
EDIT:
So i tried again from miui 2.3.7.Ran cleaning script and full wipe then flashed 1.12.30 rebooted into glitch recovery.Full wipe and cache/format then flashed 1.12.30 again...rebooted=success.Left phone for a couple of minutes.
Turned phone off.Booted into recovery...and flashed 2.1.10 with no factory wipe then wiped cache and dalvik and fixed permissions...rebooted=SUCCESS.I could of easily given up but just not been able to flash this made me more determined lol...i'm happy now.Time to take this rom for a test drive, i'm sure it will be worth it.
