WM6.5 for Pharos Traveler 127

Hello Fellows!
I had concluded and tested the WM6.5 Core 23081 V3 for Traveler 127 and now it's possible to flash the new rom using the USB connection, as the original rom.

Spoke too soon . Original rom had usb connection settings that changes usb connection settings so you can use it as regular mass storage . This rom does not have it

. I cant find same app anywhere . I tried few other and nothing works . Why in the world would you leave it out . That was one of the top ten apps on that phone .

New Version

Thanks to the efforts of Erick Will the Pharos Traveler 127 is now upgradable to very stable verison of Windows Mobile 6.5 http://www.4shared.com/file/1476629...ickWillV04.html. He has gone to great lengths to ensure that this rom performs correctly on all Pharos Traveler Phones. The 127 rom is very stable and fully functional with the exception of the Microsoft Tag Reader and programs perform great. One minor issue with the 127 rom is the dialer skin looks a bit messed up but is still fully functional and Erick has ensured me he will be correcting these issue very shortly. Windows Mobile 6.5 greatly out performs the 6.1 version that Pharos offers for the Traveler series at the moment. i strongly recommend upgrading you Traveler, If you don't like it simply flash the 6.1 rom back to your device, but I'm sure you won't. Updated WM6.5 23506 For Pharos Traveler 127

I have been testing these updates for Erick working with him to physically test the rom since he does not own the 127. This update is the most stable one yet. It's runs just as good as the wm6.1 from pharos if not better with the exception of the skin on the touch dialer which looks kinda of funny but is fully functional. Erick is aware of this problem and is working to correct it. Please if you like this rom please support his work with the link provided in his orginal post above

Windows Mobile 6.5 for Pharos Traveler 127

The dialer skin works and looks great but is missing the video call function, but if you like me and are the only person you know who is capable of making video calls, this is not a big loss, although Erick is still working to correct the video calling. Pharos traveler 127

I am going back to official wm6.1 .
This one is freezing in stand-by mode and I have to soft reset . Being the phone I dont know if I am missing any calls , and I can't figure out why is it freezing . I tried lots of settings and debuging and I was googling it and yahooing it and nobody has answers . I tried all eric versions and all of them have same problem . I dont know is it wm 6.5 standard problem or is it that eric did something wrong but I am done . He won't share his kitchen . He wants to be the only cook , so be it . Shoulda bought HTC

You are the only person that is speaking these things.. I believe that you are angry because I didn't answer your questions about my kitchen.. I have no obligation to teach you about how to cook for your device.
There are many users using my rom and no one have this issues that you have mentioned.. so I can figure out that it's not true.
I research a lot for learn to cook for these devices and advice you to do the same thing. I already had shared my tools in another post.. but unfortunely I don't have time to teach you.. so learn by yourself.. google it!

Traveler 127

No . I am not angry because You won't share kitchen . I am dissapointed that a damn thing keeps freezing . I loved the 6.5 it looks and runs very smooth , it outperforms internet speed and my gps gets signal much faster .
You can have additional numbers in contacts and camera takes better pictures . But it freezes . A lot . That is the deal breaker .

Yeah.. it's looks like that you are angry because I didn't share my tools to cook.. you neither look in XDA forum for that.. because I had shared it.
You should try to looking for a little.. maybe using search, for example..
Anyway, I have no time to teach you how to cook for that..
And about the freeze issue that you are talking about.. I don't belive, because you are the only person that is reporting this issue.. as you can see in this same post.. there is another user so satisfied with the rom that made a video to show how it is good.
By the way, as you are angry with the fact that I have no time to teach you how to cook.. or you didn't found the kitchen, your opinion must be checked before accepted. Proof of that can be found in your previous post in this thread.
Once more, sorry, I don't have time to teach you.. my advice for you is.. search how to in google as I had done.

Teaching

I did not want you to teach me anything . You started asking questions about 127 and kitchen in september 2008 on pharos forum , xda and few others . I've been googling it . All I wanted was download link for kitchen . That's it . You would never have heard from me again . But you have to drag it arround . Now our arguing ended up on google . tctctc . Forget it . as for video , I could have done same thing . The phone is working and looking great . Until I put it in stand-by. Forget it . Never mind . I'll find it one of these days .
You are going to move on to wm 7 pretty soon anyway .

I have been using the 127 v5.3 rom for almost two weeks now and really have no complaints. It runs great check out the video above or if you have already tried it, please post your comments.

Well Erick has done it again. This is another great, stable rom for the Traveler 127. the touch scrolling in this rom has been improved and overall is more stable than pervious versions. Erick is still working on get the video dailer skin working but for the time being he has place the windows default dailer skin which is fully functional. If don't like it simply flash back to Pharos's wm6.1 version, but I'm sure you wont.

I just loaded the 6.5 onto my Pharos 127 last night from Erick's download site. This version is awesome! Thank you Erick. So far, no problems at all.
