Firmware Setup :

Procedure :

1) Installing the New Firmware 04/01/2014
To download the new firmware and it will not have 'more' superuser preinstalled that did not work perfectly.

Do unzip the compressed file and insert into the firmware folder:

a) recovery amended
b) Ebr1 and 2 to increase the primary partition up to 2.5 GB

Phone off without usb cable and possibly removed the battery and put back for a perfect reset .....
and hold mode 'of off without usb cable connected!

Run Flashtool ..... select the file, and then scatter firmware upgrade ...... NOW ONLY CONNECT USB CABLE not before!
Wait for the end of the installation procedure of the firmware and eventually restart the phone!




This' whole simplified procedure for installing the original firmware.

Utility section​

SuperUser Installation


Attention to have the rights of Root " Complete 100% " of this terminal , carefully follow the guide .
I submit that all major programs such as :
and root framaroot , smartroot , Srsroot , or simple old procedure of installing supersu to recovery
DO NOT WORK , or better work but do not mount the file system read-write !

I found that the installation was done at 50% , the file system resulted only mode ' read only !

On the original firmware

On this model 'already ' installed an application (hidden) type SuperUser does not work perfectly
(The file system is not mounted mode ' read / write) .
It should then follow the guide to reinstall the NEW firmware without the super user of the Zopo



PROCEDURE

Among the many tests I've done the following program gave the best results but not ' been easy at all !

Only after installing the new firmware 1.4.2014 ( without superuser version of zopo )
1 ) Install the program on your pc VRoot :
2 ) Wait for it to update to version more ' recently and do root!
3) Connect your phone with the USB cable to the PC ... and wait for the answers on the monitor of the zp700
4) Make the root ... the phone will reboot ' .
5 ) Back in android .. you have to go on the market and unloading of SUPERSU
6) On launch Super autorizzatelo and if he wants to update via cwm binary On / TWRP .
7) Super rilanciatelo still up and you say ' that needs to be updated binary On autorizzatelo and say Cwm / TWRP
At this point your phone will reboot ' in cwm .. let him make up his return to Android !
8 ) Make sure that there is a shield appeared blue with a mechanical wheel in the middle !
The program has all in Chinese but it works perfectly!
( for the time being and ' the only one that allows you to have a superuser root and a fully functional )




ADVANCED MENU '
To take the advanced menu ' go to Settings ... About Phone ... click and go more' Buid number of times ,




If there is any problem please let me know .

Whenever you need to get into CWM recovery you can ' re-
The old procedure ( power button ) + ( volume +) ) now seems to reoperation on Zopo ZP700

Thanks v much for the tools/utilities for the zp700. Very useful, when I get the phone in a couple of weeks.
If possible, could you post the dimensions of zp700 battery, so I can look for a cheap 2nd battery.

Zopo zp700

Hello,

Sorry for my very bad English. I see here the Zopo zp700 have a 5 mpx and a 8 mpx camera but on many sites, the Zopo zp700 have a 5 mpx external camera and a 2 mpx front face camera. Two versions of this phone, that's the question.

Yep, I need to know if the battery is like another one. I wish one of 2500 mha or more, someone know where can I find one?

I got the zp700 phone today.....seems to be very good, as outlined & expected by the specs, & it picked up the apps OK from my other Zopo, from a Titanium Backup on the SD card.
Battery is holding up well, although I cannot tell until I use the fone as I normally do, in a day or two.

I will get the calipers from my workshop on Sunday & get exact millimeter dimensions; in the mean time, the best measurements with a ruler are: width 56mm, height 65mm & 4mm thickness. So very thin; I guess a hi-capacity battery will be thicker than 4mm.
Battery size checked with calipers, & its: 56 * 66 * 4
