A few days ago I thought someone said that gapps were built into the rom and that we shouldn't flash them in. Did that change and I missed it somewhere?

Aw really? Well I flashed them anyways lol. Guess if they are built in there's no reason to flash them. There's no reason why the patch should effect audio one little bit...

Don't flash gapps with decks roms. Like I said before their built into it. You can mess it up. DO NOT FLASH GAPPS

From a sense based rom, you have to backup your vvm data with titanium backup, and copy the app to your sd card. After you flash decks rom, install the vvm app from your sdcard, do not open the app!, go to titanium and restore "data only" for vvm... Ill download the rom and try it out and post my results...

Wasn't it using an older version of TB instead of the current one?

So are you telling me you cant find an old version of ti backup? Google search my friend... And, as I am currently in the middle of making a "newROM" with One_Love_420 and Dread 7us it's gonna be a day or so before I can attempt this... If anyone else can try it, please post your results...

Okay, so I've been wanting to use this ROM for a long time, but I can't stop getting random reboots, and FC's. Last night I did a Nandroid. I wiped Cache, Data, Systems, and Dalvik three times each. I flashed PB19, then did an additional wipe of Cache, and Dalvik. Rebooted, and everything seemed to be working well until this morning when I tried to use Google Nav, and got a reboot when trying to get route. What I'm I doing wrong? I just can't get past this. I have very minimal apps installed.

While the reboots arent frequent, i get them too since PB16. I don't think it is anything you are doing wrong.

I don't think so either, but I've had people tell me they are not getting them at all. Wondering what this differences are.
Would like to see exact setups of the people that are not having issues, ie, apps, kernels OC settings etc.

I had random reboots. It wasn't super terrible but annoying enough for me to not be able to use it as a Daily Driver. I don't recall any FC's though.

I think its because somethings going on with memory... I've been checking and under running programs sometimes the memory gets down to the teens and then the phone lags and reboots. It helps to go and periodically kill some memory hogging task. The memfree patch helps to an extent but it still happens eventually when a program take up a lot of the memory like facebook orr lots of widgets on your desktop

its hard enough supporting 1 device let alone 4. the evo LTE is my main device, and has had most of my 'dev' time lately, and my other time has gone to health issues. I built speedy off of cm so i can get a device tree ready for cm so hopefully you all can get nightlies sooner then later... im sorry i was trying to better the shift community.
what is it that i have or havent done that is making sparkso so mad? all my source is on my personal github and the playground github. i just dont understand what the problem is here. I never dropped support for any devices, its just been a little longer between updates, cause the device pretty much is almost fully working. things that are not fixed are not easy fixes, or they would have been done long ago. Im sorry if i offended u in any way, but i think you have me confused with some other devs. Anyways, i hope this clears some stuff up for everybody.

No, i did NOT drop support for the evo shift.
Yes, there will be updates in time.

Ok dude, where again did he say he was going to do this in the first place? Why even say he's going to do it when you don't even know if it's going to happen? Why can't he just speak for himself and post his own comments on here lol? Uploading something to cm-gerrit takes like 5 minutes if that but you seem to know more than I do..

yo bro relax. the only reason there are cm builds gong on is so that cm can add my device tree and start nightles if it comes to that, no i am not moving onto cm, and yes you need to relax, get off the bath salts, and start coding something yourself with that attitude.

    -deck

EDIT: i dont owe you anything nor will i ever. its attitudes like your's that make me want to stop support on the shift. #realtalk

thanks guys! I hear that WiMAX will never work on ICS due to no source... that's a damn shame! The only thing holding me back from ICS roms are the lack of WiMAX, since I tether WiMAX quite a bit on Gingerbread!

Well... We will have a fully functioning sense 3.6 ics rom... The evo design, same chip (msm 7630) just had a leak drop... I personally have been working on it and so have some other developers as well... Mark my words... We will have 3.6 ics with camera and wimax...

    So...
Does anyone have a working MMS or video solution on Deck's latest release?
I kinda use MMS with my girlfriend for ... sharing pictures ... and junk
