@Roach: 2.0.6 is amazing. New OC kernel also kicks ass.

Only got one problem with 2.0.6: when there are notifications, the clock + wifi + battery bar and notification bar are positioned correctly. When there are no notifications, the clock + wifi + battery bar goes a little beyond the bottom, effectively hiding wifi/battery % row and showing only clock and date. I don't think that was intentional, or was it?

Hmmm . . . I don't seem to have this issue. When no notifications, the clock, wifi, and battery appear normal. When tapping that area, the notification window opens fine and the clock, data, wifi, and battery % show in the larger window. Is this what you mean?

Here's what I mean: (check out attached pics)

Pic 1: When there are notifications (in this case, about the dock) - everything is normal

Pic 2: When there are no notifications, I don't see wifi/battery meter

Pic 3: When I tap on the clock again, the expanded variant works fine.

United Kingdom *****ez.
Also getting bootloop after flashing the Kernel.

Got as far as the energy star screen and then it stopped and the tf rebooted. Let it do it another twice before booting into recovery myself.

In recovery the Tf froze and i couldnt toggle through the options, so i reboot it into recovery again and worked a little quicker and managed to reflash an alternate kernel.

md5 matched. wiped the dalvik.

Edit: Ive tried uninstalling any o/c controllers (setcpu and oc daemon), i flashed the prime kernel 2.0.3 instead of going straight over Blades

Still no luck - went back into a reboot loop and then froze in the middle of trying to flash 2.0.3 to get it out of loop.

Just tested it and I got the same when I remove the MicroSD. I also see the clock and when tapping on the clock the rest appears.

With the MicroSD inserted I don't have this anymore. So always have a MicroSD inserted to solve this. :)

Cheers, I should be able to fix this easily, it will be an xml edit somewhere.

For those with reboots, I'm trying to get my head round this. Did you use any other custom kernels before flashing mine? Clemsyn used to release two versions of his kernels, one with and one without voodoo modules. If you have a voodoo module present and you flash my kernel you may get problems.

Have you tried installing the full 2.0.5 rom, let your TF fully reboot then go into recovery and flash the v2.0.6 kernel and patch?

    PRIME! v2.1.0 Vanilla

This is a ROM for the Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101

    Special thanks to: CaNsA | Hacre | afm | MoDaCo | dc13 | supercurio | Bumble-Bee | RaYmAn | netarchy | Vividboarder | CurtisBeef

This rom is a work in progress and all feedback is appreciated. It is build from the stock rom and has a few tweaks added. As always whenever installing any rom, please take care to follow instructions as no one enjoys seeing their prized possesion not working.

    Instructions for CWM Recovery version:
    1. Copy ROM to sdcard
    2. Verify the MD5 of the zip on the sdcard, DO NOT FLASH IF THIS DOESN'T MATCH THE MD5 UNDER THE DOWNLOAD LINK!
    3. Boot into clockworkmod recovery
    4. Take a nandroid backup (optional but highly recommended)
    5. Install the ROM
    6. Reboot and wait... The more apps you have installed the longer the first boot will take... Please note that after the lock screen comes up your TF may be sluggish for a minute while the rom initialises.
    7. Install any available patch versions for cumulative updates between full releases.

    Rom Details:
    Android 3.2.1
    GPS - V5.5.8
    WiFi - V5.2.65
    Bluetooth - V6.24
Kernel - 2.6.36.3 (Stock) - CUSTOM OC KERNEL IN POST 2

    Build - HTK75.prime_epad-2.1.0-20111105
MobileDock Firmware- EP101-0213 (Prompts for install after first boot if required)

See the second post of this thread for the changelog and any optional updates.

Note that this only works from the home screen and looks weird when you go in to standby from within an app.
If you display does bork then sometimes a long press of the power button (2 secs) brings it back. Once though my display blacked out and I had to hard reboot the tab.

    Puccini Home Buttons

I've attached the VRThemed Puccini home buttons for those that preferred them over the new ICS ones. Thanks to dwillMUFC for the zip.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE NVFLASH VERSION CAN ONLY BE USED ON AN SBK1 DEVICE

Q: Do I need to root before I flash this.
A: No, Simply use the Latest NVFLASH version available to install a custom rom and clockworkmod recovery. Then if required, upgrade to the latest version of Prime.

Q: Do I need to wipe before installing Prime?
A: In general a wipe should not be required if you are upgrading from an earlier version of Prime but if you experience any sluggishness or are coming from another rom then a wipe Should be performed before installing the rom. My advice is to take a backup before installing any rom, give it a try and if you get any errors or issues then perform a factory reset either from Settings - Privacy or perform a wipe from Clockworkmod Recovery.

Q: Do 3G USB Dongles work with this
A: Currently only HUAWEI dongles are working. The 3G settings can be activated by using the 3G Toggler App.

A: Zion is where free humans live.

    Alright.

In general, it is ok to remind members to ask questions in the General or Q&A section of a forum. It is NOT ok to make them point of ridicule if they make a mistake.

Consider this a warning. I will start infracting or banning if this behaviour continues.

    Let's continue DEVELOPMENT in here.
