So I'm back on Megatron and this is the most stable rom for the Transformer I think. Everything works and it comes with some nice addons (lockscreen shortcuts, navigation bar shortcuts etc). I will try a JB rom in the future, but I just see there are still too many bugs.

Thats not a bad idea. But i would kinda miss google now. But even that, you can find a zip for ICS. Really thomfor me, EOS 3 is just as stable as this rom.

I am using the very old GAPPS 20120429 signed and Guevor kernel V21.5.

I finally got it working after just randomly playing around with wiping and reflashing in different orders.

Thank you to everyone involved in this ROM. My Slider SL101 is now so much smoother than it was before, and it's a real pleasure to use. :highfive:

However, my pattern lock screen is seriously laggy! Like, most of the time, I have to hover over each circle for a full second before it registers. Is this a common issue or something? I don't think it's because of too many apps running, because it's happening now, and I only had the play store (not downloading; just sitting) and one other app open. It was a completely clean install; I followed the directions to the letter, and everything else works pretty flawlessly. Sometimes swiping between screens gets it a little confused and it stops halfway between....so, maybe it's a touch screen/sensitivity issue?

Firstly, to echo my thanks to the Megatron (and CM) team for the great Megatron ICS ROM. I'm running 1.1.6 on my Eee Pad Slider SL101, and it's a vast improvement on stock.
However I have a slight problem I'm hoping someone can help with. Yesterday I did a "Reboot Recovery" from the power menu. It did indeed boot into CWM recovery but now the tablet always boots into recovery. The only way I can get it to boot into the OS is to do a cold boot from power on. Anybody seen this before?

Easy fix for this.

Boot to the OS.

Open a terminal window and run the following:

Code:

$ [B]su[/B]
# [B]echo boot | dd of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p3 bs=1 seek=0[/B]
# [B]reboot[/B]

That should fix it for you.

Thanks for the advice frederico, but it doesn't work for me. When I issue "su" the prompt does not change from a $ to a #, and the second command gives me a "permission denied" error, so I'm guessing that I'm not doing this as root. See screenshots for detail. Any idea how I can fix this?

Try opening the SuperUser or SuperSU app on your tablet and see if needs updating.

If not, you need to flash superuser in recovery or reinstall the ROM.

FIXED! I determined that SuperSU wasn't working correctly, and I couldn't fix that easily so I reflashed the Megatron ROM. The commands you gave me then worked and now the tablet boots normally. Now all I have to do is put all my apps back
