Re: [ROM] CyanogenMod 10.1 - WILD FOR THE NIGHT - Mar. 20, 2013

I don't use that. But clearing data from maps and resetting location worked. I will see Monday if it updates to my work location automatically. Crossing my fingers.

Do you have work/home locations set in latitude? They are removed when you wipe Maps data.

Check md5? And is it the D710 or shooter download? Also what kind of flash were you doing, clean or dirty?

A clean flash is when you preform a factory data wipe as well as cache, data, system, dalvik cache, etc; dirty is just wiping cache, dalvik cache.

Ok , Yes I did do a clean install. I followed all the steps from qb king 77 how to install video. I also checked the md5 when i used mobile odin, it passed the check.

I downloaded and flashed the mms fix but for some reason my mms will get stuck on downloading. I've tried both 3g and wifi but neither work. Auto retrieve is also unchecked.

Did you clear cache and dalvik? You don't have to but that may help. If not then let me know

This happens with me as well. I never bothered looking for a fix. I work around it by using another texting app like handcent to download them. Once stock app shows downloading, go to other app and hit download. Once done, it'll show up in both apps.

A small annoyance but it works that way.... for me.

When that particular event happened to me I found out that I downloaded the wrong zip. Check the name of the zip and make sure it ends with d710. If not then redownload....if so then try to download the zip yet again and see if it was just a bad download

I know I ask stupid questions, but what does a custom APN do for me? :p sorry I suck

Some can't get MMS to send, receive and every variation in between. The custom APN utilizes a known working APN list to get it working without getting conflicting APN from the previous one having LTE APNs included.

Thanks Dastin. Any reason why External_SD not being active in recovery? It mounts perfect while booted in the ROM, however.

Worked on all builds prior to 3/20
