I think it can, using the above:

run this on your pc:
ifconfig usb0 10.100.0.2
and then ssh root@10.100.0.1
there is no password, just press enter
then type startx
But I have totally no idea of all this, I am just combining things that might work

My USB connector is broken off the mainboard. I laod the battery in my magician, put in in prophet so I can twinkle for a few hours
Need to solder it back on.

I have tried http://tinderbox.dev.gentoo.org/embedded/linwizard/gizard-20081207.tar.bz2 on my s200. The error appeared: "Image too large (1313352+25493504) - largest size is 25165824"

right now the red eye on my Prophet ( spv m600 )

bring ur prophet in a bootloader mode by pressing camera button+reset switch+power on button at the same time for 3-4 seconds & release all switches at the same time & if u see coloured horizantal strips on it...vow !!!u are partially successful.connect ur prophet to ur pc ,run active sync- click on downloaded prophet & follow the instructions---before this download original shipped rom RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID.exe NVID ROM from http://xdaforums.com/wiki/HTC_Prophet#Recovery: site
