My phone wont pop up on the list :(

What mode did you have your phone in? I think its made me have it in internet the last couple of times I did the tot for v4 &v6... Did your pc recognize your phone? Did you put the vs910.dll in the proper folder? We need more info on what you steps you have done what OS your running? If you was able to register the DLL? The more into we have the better we can help guide you in the right direction.

Sent from my VS910V6 stock soon to be V7 rooted and ROM in the next 12hrs. :D using XDA App

If you're having trouble getting the vs910.dll to install and keep getting the "Windows7 RegSvr32 Error 0x80020009" message then try this:

Start (Win Key) > type uac > ENTER
Pull slider down to Never notify > OK
Restart computer
try installing vs910.dll again

just make sure you go back and put the slider where it was after you are done upgrading the software on your phone. This worked for me and I'm running windows 7 64bit.

Install the VZ/LG software that comes up as soon as you plug in the phone. Do not change the connection mode, it will interrupt the software installation.

Boom! That was it. Now for the rest of the steps!

Thank you!

Glad that worked. Are you talking about selecting the file to flash? I don't recall ever having to type anything manually other than *.* in the selection box for choosing the file to flash. To get the .tot file to appear you type in *.* in the File Type box then press enter. You will now see the v7.tot file and can flash it

On a more serious note...Has anyone tried doing this on a Mac running Windoze in emulation with VMWare or Parallels?

My gut tells me I shouldn't attempt this, but if others have had success...

Did the VS910.dll register correctly without error? Internet connection mode/usb debugging? All the drivers installed? Also make sure you are using a direct usb port to the computer, with no extensions, and using the OEM cable.

Thanks so much for getting these tot files uploaded. I wanted to give a small something back to you guys, so I mirrored a few of the common files we use onto a dedicated server of mine. To make it a bit easier, I recompressed them into a single file each instead of multiple .rars, etc. These should be up for a long time:

    66.85.128.51/phone/LGPNST.zip
    66.85.128.51/phone/VS910.dll
    66.85.128.51/phone/VS910ZV7_10.S7_10.P58008.R5.zip
    66.85.128.51/phone/VS910ZV8_12.S8_12.P58013.R5.zip
    66.85.128.51/phone/VS910ZV9_05.S9_05.P58014.R5.zip
    66.85.128.51/phone/GingerVolt2.0.zip
    66.85.128.51/phone/BrokenOutRevo2.0.zip

Let me know if you need anything else added, this are just the first few I had around.

EDIT: I dont have enough posts to put a direct link, so you just have to paste them into your address bar manually.

I have uploaded the tot's to box.com and my webserver in zip saving around 300 mb. I figured people with limited bandwidth would probably enjoy this more seeing as it will save time and bandwidth.

    Downloads - Box.com (zip files):
    ZV4
    ZV6
    ZV7
    ZV8
    Enjoy
