Here's my contribution to the users ...

*ABOUT ROM

- MIUI 2.3.16 deodexed framework
- Multilanguage rom
- Zipaligned
- Volume plus addon
- Fixed right audio channel
- BT fixed (need testing)

* What is needed to fix
- FM radio (works but no sonud)
- 3D (games, video and image) - probably never
- Camera support for all types of lenses



* ABOUT CILE381 AOSP KERNEL

- OC up to 1.89 GHz
- UV compatible with system tuner
- Lagfree - default governor
- CFQ - default I/O scheduler
- Removed CIQ
- BFQ,SIO Schedulers
- SLQB allocator
- UTF-8
- CIFS
- Updated USB driver
- Updated Battery Driver
- Updated WiFi driver
- Fixed minor Bluetooth driver error
- Removed unnecessary drivers
- Button backlight set to 2 as default
- Added AOSP MT drivers

Managed to fix gps by restoring stock rom than enabling gps and than flashing miui
Working like a charm now

Strange situation...

Backed up my current ROM (ganii's MIUI)
Wiped data/ factory reset
Wiped cache
Wiped dalvik
Flashed clie's MIUI
Booted
Rebooted in recovery
Flashed TB zip
Booted

Aaaand... NO ROOT?

It seems others are getting a working ROM, can't figure out why I lost root :confused:

Any ideas?

My phone says "Error: No route to Host" when trying to connect my iControlPad.

Is there anything that can be done about it? I remember it working with the "unofficial" rom you posted in Ganii's thread a while back.

I tried all kernels I have (old aosp Anthrax, new sense anthrax which I heard works on AOSP and the one you posted in Ganii's thread [which might be the same used here]), all with the same result, so I figure it's rom related. As it was working before, do you think you could fix that?

From what I could google up, it has to do with support for the Bluetooth HID profile

EDIT: Maybe this is helpful?

Just my 2cent: with the latest AnthraX kernel (see my signature):

CAMERA IS WORKING on 5MP*2
USB MOUNT IS WORKING

Still no 3D and FM Radio, but that's not the problem. ENJOY!
Best sound ever!

    ... a lot of people contacted me for a sense kernel and therefore pose a link for download ... this kernel contains everything as aosp version (except for the modification for aosp).

    - Fixed sysfs entry for setting 3d

    Okay, full story on the Evo 3D cameras.

    The CDMA ones all have 5+2 MP cameras (so, they work on AOSP roms).

    The GSM ones (EU & US & Asia all together) have a mix of the 5+5 have 5+2 cameras.
    They shipped the first batches with 5+5 MP cameras, but software limited the 2nd camera to only use about 2 MP in order to get the 3d effect. So to save money, they replaced the 2nd camera with a 2 MP one.

    Now, they didn't go super public with this, and therefore it will say 2*5 MP cameras if you go into the "About Phone" on all EVO 3D's, regardless of what camera is in it.

    And i'm fairly certain HTC didn't bother going through all the places in the code where they mention the 2*5 MP devices in order to change it.
    So when Elixir 2 is reading the device information, it's basicly just telling you what HTC put in there, which is wrong.

    So, in conclusion:
    If your camera works on AOSP at the moment, you have a 5+2 MP device.

    There is no ROM with a working 5+5 MP camera. At all.

    I have tried every single combination of every single AOSP rom in the GSM market at the moment, and I have not been succesful in getting my camera to work.

    I think i remember someone posting a list of the what EVO 3D's have 5+2 and 5+5 somewhere (according to carrier, and region, and also depending on which color the outer line on the backside has), but i can't seem to find it at the moment. Perhaps someone else can.
