[Q] wifi hotspot and face unlock not available

1) I have wifi in my tablet..but no hotspot or usb tethering. is it just a software limitation or does it require any extra hardware support in the tablet ???
2) my tablet is running ics 4.0.3 but still no face to unlock feature available? Checked the whole setting,no use

IF your tablet has front facing cam, try flashing gapps package and see if you can get back face unlock. Do make a backup before doing so

thanks sir, and what about wifi ? does it need any extra. hardware preinstalled in tab or any software can help me ?

It depends on the manufacturer to support it via a software update.

i've found a couple of roms here...if flashed with it(by keeping backup of original)will it be safe? will i get all the features missing?

eagerly waiting for your reply to flash my tab.
