Not sure how many of you know about this, but there is an app in the play store named nfc classic that lets your phone emulate cards. I know that our phones don't support google wallet so I thought I'd give it a try. I tried to use it with my local public transportation card (marta) which is nfc enabled, and although it read the card, the Marta system didn't recognize the data on my phone as a valid card (probably because of encryption issues). I was thinking it's gotta work for somebody (some comments for the app in the store claimed that it works), so I thought I'd share.

Sounds neat. I'd love to be able to leave more of my cards at home.

Is there any kind of security? Like I have to enter a pattern or number when a device swipes with my phone?

This most likely will not work unless whatever card you are using uses absolutely no type of security.
