[Q] Flashing Stock Image From SafeStrap
I have the ME7 version of the S4. I rooted my device shortly after I got it and have been waiting for a good weekend day to install SafeStrap and find a good ROM to go with it. Got safestrap installed fine, downloaded SynergyROM and the flashover fix from the guide to installing a ROM via safe strap. Flashed them both, re-booted, and things didn't look too different. They were different and everything worked just fine, but it didn't seem right, so I re-booted into SafeStrap. I then realized I had flashed over the stock.
I then flashed the ROM into a new slot and booted there, it booted like a nice clean install (as it should). I would like to have a nice, clean stock ROM to go back to, but I know this has messed up the stock slot. I searched and couldn't find a good answer about how to fix a situation like this except for someone who wiped the stock slot and installed a custom rom there.
My question is this, if I download the stock image from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2301259
, and then flash it over the stock slot, will this restore the stock ME7 image? It seems like it might ought to work, but before I went and bricked my phone I thought I would ask here.
