Hello,

I've since become a DHD and I have also the same day the "RomeAndroid Revolution" flashed.

But no other kernel.
What can I use the scripts for this Rom?

use RCMixUV.zip :D
if the phone freezes or will not boot after flashing that script, try RCMixUV-lite.zip :)

I'm a newbie at this, so maybe I'm asking a dumb question, but here it goes.

I'm running DarkIce, I've installed your script, seems to work fine.
Then I read somewhere you can have different governors for screen-on and screen-off, and different max cpu values. But these seem to work with the _oc scripts.

So the question is, is your script even 'better' tuned than running 2 different governors and lowering max cpu when screen is off? Or am I just using the wrong app... (i installed Daemon Controller).

I have lord kernel, if I flash related script I will have uv also for oc frequencies or only up to stock frequencies?

switching between two governors and having screen off profiles is a cheap way to mimic governors that have suspend (sleep) settings built in. also i'm using regular ondemand governor with BlackICE rom and it loves to stick around 122mhz if i'm not touching the screen :)
for the scripts I use the governors with suspend/sleep settings in them, makes it slightly more foolproof.

Does it mean that on miui I should use some app to control cpu?Now I'm using SysTune app so should I uninstall it before flashing the script or is it ok to keep SysTune and flash the script?

Its working perfectly. I don't under volt those higher frequencies because its gets problematic for many users

Systune is okay to use. Not setCPU.

    After being asked to so many times, I decided it was time to make my own thread for these. :D lots and lots of downloads, I must be doing something right :)

    These scripts will work on any ROM as long as you are using the correct Kernel for the script.

    These scripts do a few things:
    • Set CPU variables without the use of any apps (thx lee for introducing me to bootscripts :) )
    • Undervolt CPU frequencies (thx lord clockan for tips :) )
    • Optimize lowmememorykiller values (thx zepplin :) )
    • Removes andrev_oc / virtuous_oc if present (the script tunes cpu so theres no need for the OC Daemon...(virtuous_oc remains and is tuned for Unity scripts))

    • To install script: boot into recovery and flash the desired .zip
    • To uninstall script: boot into recovery and flash the reset.zip

    Info:
    • New: Added Unity-v10 kernel scripts, they leave virtuous_oc intact and tune cpu via the oc_daemon (122-384mhz conservative sleep, 122-998mhz ondemand wake)
    • removed some older scripts
    • Added rcmix v11 scripts in second post, went back to ondemandx governor by requests, and added the lines for minimum and maximum freqs back for easy modification :)
    • Added rcmix v10 scripts Attached in post number two :rolleyes: Took a few lines, governor is set to ondemand, kernel default max freq is already at 998mhz. Added in sd card read_ahead patch, seems to be working well for me and I use the shoddy sdcard that came with my phone.
    • Added UnityUV/UV-lite scripts. Undervolts UnityV9 Kernel and sets the same lowmemorykiller values used in the other scripts, (THIS SCRIPT DOESN'T DELETE OC DAEMON, OR SET THE CPU/GOVERNOR)
    • RCMix*v8 scripts for RCMix kernel v8 and above, only difference is it uses ondemandx governor instead of smartass (thanks klquicksall and lord clockan:D)

    • RCMixCPU/ClockanSenseCPU/LeeDroidCPU have no undervolt, just LMK and CPU tuning
    • RCMix* scripts are for use with RCMix Kernel (SENSE)
    • ClockanSense* scripts are for use with LordModNCTeam Kernel (SENSE)
    • LeeDroid* scripts are for use with LeeDroid Kernel (SENSE)
    • LordMod* scripts are for use with LordMod UE Kernel (AOSP)
    • Talon* scripts are for use with TalonACE Kernel (AOSP)
    • reset.zip is used to uninstall script in-case it causes any problems
    • The scripts for AOSP Kernels doesn't include CPU variables, because they are tuned with CMSettings :)
    • CPU settings for RCMix Kernel scripts (122mhz-998mhz | gov: smartass | Sleep max freq:307mhz)
    • CPU settings for ClockanSense Kernel scripts (122mhz-998mhz | gov: ondemandx | Sleep max freq:307mhz )
    • CPU settings for LeeDroid Kernel scripts (245mhz-1ghz | gov: smartass | Sleep max freq:422mhz)

    I've tried it on every ROM available on XDA :p
    It works wonders.
    Just be sure you read the info section, as it explains which script to use foe each kernel.
    & because not every phone handles undervolting the same way, there are scripts (uv-lite) for slightly less agressive undervolting, and more scripts (*CPU) that dont undervolt at all but still tune CPU and LMK values

    Capy has included the super smooth Rosie mod in the Rom, but as fas as the supercharge scripts, you may use them but its not necessary. This script is the result of months of testing using information collected from these forums and from my own curiosity and ideas, with the intent of making my phone as well as all of yours run better and longer between charges :)
