[01/feb/2012] Rom SENSATION XL V 3.0 stock ALL IN ONE (marc v0.1.8 ker)

Haldric, 1st of all thank for you works and for this Rom especially!!! On T-Mobile all work smooth, perfect and no troubles yet...
there are plenty of tutorials made sticky in the forum about this, and many youtube videos about it, but since i am writing anyway ..
1. get yourself magldr and clockwork recovery mode.
2. flash magldr
3. boot into magldr, select usb flasher
4. unpack cwm (crm) and edit flash.cfg to look like recomended:
misc ya 1M
recovery rrecov|ro|nospr filesize recovery-raw.img
boot yboot|ro 5M
system ya 210M
cache ya 5M
userdata ya|asize|hr allsize
5. reboot
6. when you get magldr menu, choose ad recovery
7. when in clockwork mode, go to advanced, and partition sd card
8. partition sd card as suggested 1024 partition size, 0 for swap
9. copy rom zip file onto sd card
10. select install zip from sd card
11. wait
12. wait
13. wait
14. repeat steps 11-13
15. when finished, reboot phone
16. repeat steps 11-14

, but yeah I know these steps well as I have used many different roms, my issue being I am using CLK you install recovery to CLK from an image file, I therefore don't have access to a flash.cfg file.
I a merely venting my frustration that unlike most other roms on these forums, I can't simply install this through CWM and have done. Unless of course anyone knows how to install this using CLK?

Task29 can be used, but it is largely irrelevant as both MAGLDR and CLK installs format the nand partitions, which in essence is what task29 does.
when flashing magldr it flashes into nand first sectors, so that is deleted, and with cwm when making partitions it also deletes nand, so task29 is a bit of overkill. it is like deleting data from your hard disk before formating it

Use HD2 Tookit, and when it comes to creating the clk partition, ignore the first 5, so select a cache size of 4 (other option is 44) and the relevant partition size from the list. Then once that is created use it to install clk.
i don't think its in this rom,ive tried getting it from 1 of my other roms,but everytime i try to install it,i get application not installed

Is this the fastest Sense ROM out there? This thing is flying! I have tried so many Sense ROM's (including the Supercharger script) but this one is the fastest i've ever tried.
Could be perhaps, that my phone just came out of repair and they renewed everything inside it..

nope it wont work at all pulling it from another rom
it has to be setup when building the rom

try upgrading your radio to 2.15.50.14,watch how much faster it goes,not that it need to go any faster,just sick of ppl telling me to upgrade my radio,so i've flashed it last night,well impressed

I Recommands partition 5/220/5 for eu users and 5/350/5 for tmous users
